ROMNEY would have LOST Florida REGARDLESS

Lets set the record straight !

I appreciate members frustration, but you are making FALSE accusations toward Dr. Paul voters with out even having looked at the Florida voting results !

In FL, ROMENY WOULD HAVE LOST TO McCAIN REGARDLESS !

    Romney lost by 97,520 votes.

Even if ALL the FL votes cast for Dr. Paul, Tancredo, Thompson, Hunter, and Keys COMBINED were given to Romney, he still would have lost to McCain.

In addition...if you ALSO gave all of Hucks votes to Romney and all of Guliani's votes to McCain, ROMNEY STILL WOULD HAVE LOST by 27,508 votes.

Here are the final vote totals in FL:

    McCain: 695,746
    Guliani: 283,360
    Romney: 598,226
    Huck: 260,209
    Paul: 62,356
    Thompson: 22,419
    Hunter: 2,820
    Keys: 4,010
    Tancredo: 1,558

Please stop blamming other members on this board for McCain's win.

You can't blame Paul the only true conservative in the race for the McCain win. Remember, McCain's Juan Hernandez brought out every cuban and hispanic within the state for the McCain vote. They get free everything, and unless they vote for Juan McCain they might have to go home which would end their free ride.

Paul is a hero, and I would never expect him to end his campaign to give to Romney.

The McCain win was through his typical corruption. He was a traitor during NAM... He is a traitor now. He will do anything his insane mind can do to be sure Hillary is the new Presidente... clear and simple.

And I will never vote for the lesser of the evils. Paul is a man of principle, who has never changed his position on any issue. Behind closed doors every republican will say Paul is right on everything (although they do not like his position of borrowing trillions from China to fight wars for oil).

I am for the one last morsel of honesty in this campaign, the only person left standing that is NOT a member of the Council of Foreign Relations... and that is Ron Paul. Tancredo/Hunter were not members and see what happened to them? Other than Paul, all other candidates republicans and democrats are part of the secret CFR.

I am not going down without a fight, and I am not going to sacrifice honesty. I am not a sheeple led to the slaughter. Proud of my confederate heritage, I will not sell out to the CFR and I will stand strong for honesty in politics which leaves one candidate left standing and that is Ron Paul. Call him insane, call him a man from Mars... but look at his record, personal life and find me one thing in his record that proves the man is a nutcase and I'll send you a gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse !!!!

My challenge to you. Prove to me that the austrailian company that has given 95,000 to the Clinton campaign... the one that owns FOX News .... the one that portrays Paul has a lunatic is correct

Update: Ed Morrissey has your answer:

In my experience in California, independents would often re-register as either Democrats or Republicans in order to participate in primaries, and then re-register again as independents for the general election. It’s perfectly legal, and it is part of the normal primary process. Most of the time it makes no difference at all, because most primaries of late have not had the same wide-open quality of this one after the first three or four states.

In this case, exit polls show “party identificationâ€

Yep, I heard about this on the radio. Supposedly they were allowing McCain supporters to change their registration to Republican the day of the vote. I'm sure this kind of think will occur in other states too.

I read Ron Paul is investigating the Louisiana caucus for similar actions that kept him from earning 1st place:

First, they candidates were supposed to have their delegates submitted by Jan 10th. Ron Paul had submitted the highest number of delegates (105 delegates and 70 alternatives). They were submitted on the 8th, but 6 hours after he handed in the slate, Louisiana Republican Party communications and political director Jason Doré sent out a news release extending the deadline to register delegates until Jan. 12. The deadline extention gave supporters of other candidates the opportunity to fill up their slates.

Second, Louisiana voters were told they had until Nov 29th to re-register republican. But ON VOTE DAY, the rules were changed and only those registered by Nov 1st were allowed to vote. This really hurt Paul since he also has independant and democratic supporters.

Well, I just got a call from the Romney campaign asking for my support on Tuesday, and said I would be unable to because he has not vowed to dismantle the SPP, and she said to me "Oh, I'm sorry" and hung up.
