Phred, MSNBC is the station to tune in to these days if you want to hear anything about illegal immigration. They have Pat Buchanan on there all the time arguing with these OBLs and they are the only one other than Lou Dobbs who tells us anything.

Ah, sorry - I probably am not able to catch the program that has Pat on very much due simply to schedule matters. I do like Pat, and Tucker Carlson has been reasonably good on the subject. I do have a strong dislike of the regular anchors that do the morning news for sure.

I think there's a big difference between saying it was orchestrated with our government's help vs. facilitated because it was part of the plan to remove civil liberties and move towards a global corporate government. I don't think the gov knew the specifics, but sadly I do believe some of them saw it as a "good" thing. I was watching the history channel today, and the most disturbing thing about the terrorists was how obviously fraudulent their visa applications were. It would have to either be deliberate or involve complete morons to have allowed them here. Then the airports failed COMPLETELY to screen their weapons. I mention these things because they directly affect who's in the country and what they can do once inside. To be honest, I do worry about another attack right before next year's elections (probably chemical not nukes) - then marshal law will be declared and there will be NO election.

Actually it shows how inept our government can be in certain areas. I FINALLY just got my passport. It's part of our argument earlier on the amnesty bill when they said they would do background checks in 24 hours. Well, just the passport fiasco this summer proved the government is not equipped to do what legislatures think they can.

As far as their weapons, they weren't consider weapons at that time. My husband retired from an international airport in the states. He constantly complained that we needed to bring our security up to the standards of Israel. Well, here we are six years later and we aren't even close to the technology that they use.

NO its the INS that is inept, the NOT allowing cross information by the Clinton administration and many many other problems. They just didn't think it could really happen here on the big scale. When it did, why do you think Sandy Burger stole classified documents, stuffed them in his socks, etc and shredded them. We have have the proof we need of who didn't do the job.

Sofedup is on target here. That's been a concern of mine since the 2004 election.
