If You Are Wrong, Then Resign From Office

President Bush is taking the blame for Hurricane Katrina. Personally, this is one time that I don't think he should take the blame. I say that it is obvious where most of the blame should go, if we're going to blame. I see this as a last ditch effort to ralley support from his old supporters, out of sympathy from the people who voted for him, and are now angry regarding his reckless manner regarding how he cares for this country.

I say this: President Bush, if you are willling to take the blame and are openly admitting it, then it is only right that you should step down from office. RESIGN

I don't see any reason why Bush should resign. We all make mistakes. If Bush would make an mistake and wouldn't admit it, I'd be upset. He made mistakes and admitted it. So, then it's ok.

I've changed my mind. The more I think of having Dick Cheney as president, the more I shudder and want to stick my head in the sand.

Can anyone IMAGINE Dick Cheney caring and worrying about the American people YIKES

    Don't Resign, Stay

    * Secretary of the Treasury John Snow
    * Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld
    * Attorney General Alberto Gonzales
    * Secretary of the Interior Gale A. Norton
    * Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns
    * Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez was born in Cuba and is ineligible.
    * Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao was born in Taiwan and is ineligible.
    * Secretary of Health and Human Services Mike Leavitt

If you listened carefully, the President took responsibility for the FEDERAL
response to the disaster. There was no mention of the state or local response.
If you think about the magnitude and scope of the hurricane, the response was quite impressive. The Federal response ,at first, had to compensate for the lack of state and local response. The response was faster than that of hurricane Andrew in 1992.

You're right, Dataman, and to tell you the truth, overall it was a pretty irresponsible post that I wrote yesterday. In order to properly address this issue of President Bush taking responsibility a lot of facts and information would have to be laid out on the table in order to get to the truth.

Please forgive me. I was just ranting angry at the moment so I said, "Ok, George Bush if you're wrong then resign!" I often resort to sarcasm regarding these issues. It's a little of a stress reliever.

Actually from a distance, or from where I see it, if anyone should take responsibility it should be the mayor and the governor first. What do you think....if we even need to discuss it.

If President Bush would take responsibility for the borders, the illegal immigration disaster, and one last thing......if he would apologize to the Minutemen.....I would jump through a hoop with fire. Okay, okay, not one with fire...but I would jump through a hoop!!

Thank you, Dataman. I stand corrected !

This is the kind of crap that gets me fired up. You don't see any reason why Bush should resign? Oh really? Oh so since he made a mistake and admitted it (granted it was done only for political reasons) we should just forgive and forget and move on? Nay I say. No there is a difference between you or I making a mistake and Bush making a mistake. 9 times out of 10 if you or I make a mistake, it's probably very minor and the damage done to ourselves or others is most likely going to be minimal at best. Bush mistakes have cost the lives of many thousands of Americans. Lets point out these life costing mistakes:

    1. 9-11. Bush's refusal to allow local and state officials to coordinate, communicate and cooperate with the feds cost America 3,000 lives.

    2. Bush's refusal to close the borders has allowed millions of predatory illegal aliens which includes gangs, drug runners, rapists, and murders to run rampant which has cost the lives of thousands of Americans each year.

    3. Bush's refusal to crack down on cities with illegal alien sanctuary zone (heck Bush signal handedly created one on his own in New Orleans) has cost the lives of thousands of Americans each year. See item 2 again for further details.

    4. Bush's illegal and unnecessary Iraq war has not only cost us the lives of thousands of troops, but has stretched our resources so thin that we don't have the capability to protect this countries borders, prevent a major terrorist attack or help in the recovery of a natural disaster like Katrina.

    5. Bush and his administrations lack of leadership during the first week of the Katrina disaster cost America thousands more lives.

    6. Bush's out of control debt spending and horrific economic policies has cost America millions of jobs and has put America trillions of dollars in debt.

Don't even get me started on the other little small stuff that has made the lives of Americans miserable and upset. So no Bush's mistakes whether admitted or not are NOT OK. Bush's mistakes gets Americans killed. No I also don't believe these mistakes by Bush are really mistakes either. I think this is all a grand plot. Bush is all about the NWO. He is all for one world government. I think Bush is all about depressing wages and driving down the economy to eliminate the middle class. He, just like any good globalist liberal wants all of us to all be dependent upon big government. Is it any coincidence that Bush is using Katrina to further push his open borders agenda on America? I doubt it. He is using big business to bring America to it's knees. I said it before, our biggest enemy to our sovereignty is the very same guy running the show in the White House. It's really sad and it breaks my heart to see this happening to my country.

So my advise to you (and I'll try to put this in the nicest way possible) is to pull your head out of the sand and stop being a blind follower to Bush. He doesn't care about you or those around you. All he cares about is power and greed. The only thing Bush is sorry about is his poll numbers and the only thing he's taking responsibility for is #1 and that is himself. He is a politican and a traitor. If he was any bit competent these so called mistakes could have been easily avoided. So you need to stop making excuses for the guy. He's not this compassionate conservative that you think he is, he's a fraud and a phony. He's every bit the globalist that Clinton was and then some.

Get off the Bush bandwagon and step into the light. Take the blue pill and see what reality is really like and it aint pretty.

Hastert would be good. He's usually strong on the immigration issue. The others after him would probably be horrible, especially Gonzales. Yikes!!!

Hastert pushed for the open border trade act known as CAFTA. he also held the vote open after CAFTA was defeated in the first 15 minutes so that "Deals" could be made and votes changed. Hastert might be strong on immigration but he is for backdooring them into our country through "Trade Agreements."

Speaker Hastert Statement on Passage of DR-CAFTA
Hastert says “Trade agreement is about fairness for American workers and exporters

    July 27, 2005

(Washington D.C.) Speaker of the House J. Dennis Hastert (R-IL) today made the following statement after the passage of the Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement. DR-CAFTA passed by a final vote of 217-215.

“America’s economic stability is directly linked to our ability to maintain a robust trading relationship with the rest of the world.

“The passage of this agreement is a win-win situation for American farmers, businesses and consumers. No matter how you look at it, business activity will increase. When businesses do well, jobs are created. In fact, it is estimated that one out of every five factory jobs in the U.S. depends on trade.

“This agreement will also help solidify democracy and economic reform in Central America. Trade creates jobs and lifts people out of poverty. And when that happens, societies stabilize and grow. There is nothing like a stable society to fight terrorism and strengthen democracy, freedom and rule of law.

“Put simply, this trade agreement is about fairness, fairness for American workers and fairness for American exporters. Our businesses and workers deserve a competitive trading environment on a level playing field.

“This is important legislation. It will expand economic opportunity in the United States, and it will promote freedom and democracy in Central America.
