As I set here typing away, my husband opened the door of the "game room" to let the dog out.
I heard singing! As I listened, I heard sweet voices singing "The Star Spangled Banner." When they were finished, I said, ask them to sing it again.....and they did. Three little girls and a boy......all around the age of 10. I never heard a note off-key, a word mis-pronounced....just pure beautiful music.
When they finished, my husband asked why they were singing it.
The reply? Momma is in the house reading about people that shouldn't be here and she is singing it. So we wanted to sing it too.
