Star Prosecution Witness To Zimmerman’s Lawyer: My Culture Regularly Calls White People ‘Crackers’

As #CrackerGate seemingly came to a close during today’s edition of the George Zimmerman murder trial, star witness Rachel Jeantel told the defense lawyer during cross-examination that it is the norm within her local community to call white people “crackers.”

The derogatory term for white people had become a focus of the Zimmerman defense team after Jeantel told the court on Wednesday that the late Trayvon Martin had referred to the defendant as a “creepy-ass cracker” shortly before his own death. Defense lawyer Don West continually grilled Jeantel over various questions related to Martin’s use of the word, ultimately culminating with the question of whether it is “normal” within her own local community to use the slur.

“In the culture that you live in, in your community, people there call white people ‘crackers’?” West asked.

“Yes, sir,” Jeantel replied.

“And do they use the n-word regularly?” he asked.

“Yes, sir.”

“And, you’re saying, so did Trayvon Martin?” he asked. “Trayvon Martin referred to white people as crackers, correct?” he inquired once more after a long pause.

“I don’t recall, sir,” Jeantel responded after what looked like a great deal of thought about her answer.

Jeantel was then dismissed from the court for today, seemingly putting an end to #CrackerGate.

Yes, they so comfortably use the racist 'C' word to dehumanize and oppress white people. Is it any wonder than a black person is 15 times or 1500% more likely to kill a white person than a white person is to do the same to a black person?

So, this week, the murder trial of George Zimmerman has brought the racial-ugly out of people. Again. As evidenced by the loving, tolerant, non-racist tweets below.

It's also solidified a few new tidbits that I learned when this case first started being talked about non-stop by every American news station:

1. While Obama is half-black and half-white, he is considered black. Because being the first half-black President just doesn't get the votes, and doesn't sound half as cool.

2. George Zimmerman, however, is half-white and half-Hispanic. But he is considered white. Because this is America, and to be super-evil, he's gotta be white. Just ask MSNBC. And your current administration. Hello.
You're welcome for today's refresher-course in American race.

Anywho, I also find it interesting that after having this site for four and a half years and being called a raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacist at least four skabillion times (just because I didn't vote for the half-black dude in the last election based on his crappy, country-destructive policies), the folks who wrote the tweets below will more than likely get a pass in the whole race-relations discussion.

You know, because they don't vote Republican.
