This is what Elvira has planned in Tijuana

    http://www.chicoer.com/news/national/ci_6677936

She huddled less than 24 hours later with about a dozen activists to plan
her next steps in Tijuana, just across the border from San Diego and only
about 100 miles from where she says she entered the United States illegally
in 1997. Her plans included a talk-radio show appearance Tuesday, a news
conference at City Hall on Thursday and a rally Sept. 12.

"I have a fighting spirit, and I'm going to continue to fight," Arellano,
32, said outside the second-floor apartment where she is living with a
friend. Her 8-year-old son Saul will stay in Chicago with his godmother.

Everyone should have Sept. 12 on their calender! Phone calls and faxes!
If Elvira comes through, Tijuana will have a march in demand of Amnesty. A blockade at the border is also possible. If so, it will only help our side by angering more and more the American people.

Amen to the anger. I've heard nothing but on the radio the last two days -people are repulsed that she has left her son in America and that he will be used for her cause/to keep her in America.

I AM going shopping Sept. 12 big time. This boycott will be interesting to see what happens. The boycott in Waukegan (against our 287g) backfired for the stores who supported it. One storekeeper said he has lost 30% of his business. OUch.....

LOL! A blockade at the Tijuana border? Thats the busiest border crossing in the world, if they do that all they will do is make a lot of folks very upset with them! On both sides of the border.

I really think people need to ignore her. The message she needs to receive is "Protest your own country",You Will Never Be A Citizen and have NO say in our politics.

I was on the ICE site tonight and her Picture is proudly displayed with a short story of her capture and the "delicate" removal of a Felon Illegal Immigrant who was a potential threat to our country. They are very proud of removing her

People in TJ don't care about the illegals in the U.S.. A boycott will not work and a blockade will be the only way to stop residents from crossing the border. They will piss off alot of the Tijuana residents for not letting them go shopping. TJ residents wait 1 to 2 hours at the border crossing in order to go shopping for their favorite American Brand names.

I don't think we'll be hearing about Elvira for too long. Just like Elian Gonzales was a big news story, people will lose interest, and already are.

She will have to pick up her life and move on. If she really loves her son, she should get him with her and give him a normal life. She's dragged him through enough.

Yes, breed, breed, breeed in........MEXICO!! Start a little army to overthrow the Mexican government. Instead of trying to do it to us, and then creating the same problem you had to begin with -- living in a Third World country.

Who is her husband, or at least the father of her child? I keep hearing about her 8-year-old son, but the MSM seems to be ignoring such minor details as, say, who is the father and where is he in all of this political posturing.

    fedupinwaukegan -

Sorry, I'm a little dense tonight. The guy lost 30% of his business because he supported the boycott against 287g?
