Thread: The Word Is Getting Out

So far today, I have heard on three channels, MSNBC, Fox, and CNN that the Newark, NJ murders will make a difference in how illegals are handled from now on when they get arrested for serious crimes, included DUIs. Newark NJ will now screen all suspected illegal aliens for their legal status and notify ICE.

Somehow, I just don't get this. Why haven't their records been checked right along, like when they get that first DUI, or caught driving without a license. When an American commits a crime, they are automatically checked.

The tide is turning and it's in favor of the legal citizens of the United States!!

Now if we can just get Oregon to follow that plan after the rape and murder of Dani Countryman. It would be a true memorial to Dani to have the laws improved to prevent what happened to her from happening to others.

My worry is that there are so many illegal aliens in this country, how many have committed crimes who have never been caught. They live and work under an assumed name and for all we know some could've committed crimes before even entering this country. Our open borders are a gateway for any criminal in the world. Where would you hide if you just murdered somebody in another country?

You are absolutely right! I am beginning to believe that Mexico actually released a percentage of their prison population, complete with instructions on how to enter this country. They may have given the prisoners contingent release....you are free IF you make it to the United States.

I think a vast portion of the American citizens were asleep to fact that many illegals are dangerous criminals.Most everyone just totally swallows what the msm evening news puts out about them being "family oriented,hard working" now, with the murders in Newark they are waking up some.I just wish there was a way for ALL the stories of the illegal alien crime way to make it on tv.
I think if it did the public outcry for deportation and crack downs would be deafening! Thank God for Lou Dobbs!

"Notifying ICE" doesn't do one bit of good unless they are held until ICE pickes them up. That's the root of the problem. ICE never shows and the local government lets them go.

We need to get the word out, anyway that we can. For the past two years I have writing letters to the editors about crimes committed by illegal aliens, and I used the statistics from the Violent Crimes Institute. By now I think many residents of my town know about it.
