McCaskell on Lou Dobbs. Says arm twisting going on, especially on the Republican side. Says some of the votes today may not be there in final vote.

McCaskill. It's about money. If we were to follow the law right now, this bill wouldn't be needed. There is a push in the business community for amnesty for cheap labor.

Lou: Why is there no stomach in the Senate to enforce the law.

McCaskill.We can deter hiring illegal immigrants
Passing this bill is not going to change the priorities
People in America should continue to call and write. My guess is we will not get final passage of this bill.


Lou: What is the motivation of this Pres.

Cornyn: I think the Pres is sincere but
The rhetoric is that we can't do anything unless we pass this bill

Cornyn: The problem is that you hear some of the same comments as the Pres fro proponents of this bill

Lou: What are the chances of this bill passing?

Cornyn: This package of Amendments is over 300 pages long. I expect these amendments won't pass.

So it's all about Corporate America....forget the people unbelievable
