Thread: Radio BLITZ!!!!!!!

I'll be honest. I read a lot of true spy and espionage books. I've learned a lot of things I can't use in real life. Well here is my chance.

I have a suggestion. We can learn a thing or two from War History. The radio has been a very effective weapon against the opposition. Example, "the voice of Tokyo Rose was said to have taunted Allied forces during the war, hurting morale."

I am asking everyone to call your local radio station request lines and ask them to play a patriotic tune. You don't have to tell them why, other than you are in the mood. It will actually have a dual effect. It will discourage the illegal supporters and encourage Americans. I think this is a passive enough act, that the radio stations will unwittingly do it. They may not realize for a while what is up. Might even get the opposition mad at the stations and that will server a purpose too. One attack like nasty letter or on-air comment and they will quit advertising for them.

There is just something about hearing a patriotic tune, when we are in a national crisis, and we can't help but feel brave and called to take action. We should be hearing anthems right now and we are not. Not that we can't push the issue a little.

Consider it covert psychological warfare.

Ask them toi play Bushton. It is current and fits country, alternative, college light rock, and some talk radio. That is what it is here for. If they say they dont have it they can download at www.bighornmusic.com/bushton/ or pm me and I will send them a cd. If you get um to play it I'll mail you a cd.

the message is on target. The tune is mastered. Lets see which radio station has the guts to play it.

I want to add that radio stations listen to each other and try to play simular music. If you get it going others will follow.

760 KFMB news radio in San Diego plays a wonderful new Mexican anthem called "I get high". They also have a Save Our Country petition that you can sign.

I think the song that Aaron Tippin sings, The Stars and Stripes is another wonderful patriotic song written after 911.Very powerfull message.Here are the words to the song.

You're correct. The song reminds me of Cheech and Chong. Those two were so funny. However the song " I get High" played on KFMB is a hoot. I have visited their website hoping to get the words so I can pass the song along. But so far I haven't had much luck. I'll revisit their website and do some more poking around.
