My security blanket just few off in a helicopter
o.k., I don't like Bush anymore, I don't believe in what he did to this country and we have been invaded and he let that happen. The one thing Bush did do right is to protect our country for the last seven years!!
When he left in that helicopter, I felt my security and our safety go away with him. The liberals are on the loose now and we are in dangerous times. I keep praying and I also think to myself that bho has two small daughters and he wants them protected. So I hope he makes decisions with his head instead of his liberal heart and continues to protect our precious country . . . (of course all the while illegals continue to run our borders)

Uhm, he did NOT protect us. Ever hear of 9-11?
Happened the same day they were running Air-Force training scenerios on planes hitting buildings.
Google it. Well know history.

I believed in this man and my heart was crushed when I had to LOOK AND SEE THE TRUTH. You can't defend going after terrorists and fighting a war on terror when you ALLOW THEM TO JUST WALK ON IN!!Please help save America for our children and grandchildren... they are counting on us. THEY DESERVE the goodness of AMERICA not to be given to those who are stealing our children's future! ... and a congress who works for THEM!

Re: My security blanket just few off in a helicopter
There does seem to be an inconsistency with the whole "Bush protected our country" thing. I do agree that if he was intent on protecting our country he would not have dropped the ball on illegal immigration. What are those statistics again? Just as many Americans have died as a result of illegal aliens being here as have died in Bush's war?

Yeap leaving our borders so open that any terrorist could drive a van full of explosives accross the border? I think that we were just lucky.

01-20-2009, 02:40 PM #6No I am aware of 9/11 but that was in the works under Clinton's watch and came about right when Bush came into to office.

Didnt one of the 9-11 hijackers receive visa approval after the attack? I think we have just been lucky not to be attacked again. I dont think it was because Bush was protecting us. The borders have been open the whole time. In fact if somone else had been in office we might never have been attacked in the first place.

As I mentioned in another post think of all the millions of illegal aliens including terrorists now pouring across the border which soon will cease to exist when Obama signs the executive abolishing all federal immigration and hiring laws. Illegal aliens know they will be given health care and any jobs from the Ponzi scheme labeled as a stimulus........

I felt a sense of relief today as I watched Bush get on the helicopter and leave the Capitol.I have been very worried he would invoke martial law so I am thrilled he is GONE !!
I am willing to take a "wait and see" attitude toward Obame.Who knows he may be a fine president we just do not know yet.
I liked his speech today and I was very emotional when he talked about all those in our history who have made sacrifices and some the ultimate sacrifice for our country."A Government big enough to give you everything you want,is strong enough to take everything you have"* Thomas Jefferson
