I would like to exclude my negative comments to those who we do truly appreciate and respect. There are some and I could probably just about name them all.....rest assured the American people know who you are and thank you so very, very much !! If it weren't for you senators and reps, governors and mayors and police chiefs....heaven only knows how much worse things would be for us U.S. citizens.

The Liberals (the Democrat Party is full of them) think the people are too ignorant to take care of themselves, thus they push socialist programs so the government can take care of us.
I don't think that many do it on purpose. I just think that they are so passionate about what they want that they don't look at the core or essense or ramifications of what it is they are pushing. They want to make sure EVERYONE is cared for, which is a noble effort. However, what is the price of such an effort? Big government, hefty taxes being paid by those that have the money (whether rich or middle class), diversity over assimilation, etc.
No thank you. I enjoy being able to decide for myself how much of a success or failure I wish to be. I like to give to charity when I can. I'd like to pay as little in taxes if possible. Remember, big government means big taxes. And, I'd like the history, culture, and language of our country respected. By the way, socialist governments historically DO NOT LAST!!!

We are caught in the middle here folks, between the extremes of both parties:

The Democrats truly believe that we have a duty, no matter the cost, to suppot the downtrodden of the world.

The Republicans believe that whatever a business has to do to make a profit, is acceptable.

Just because you're used to something doesn't make it right.

Or could it be that both parties are just trying to pander for votes from certain groups while not caring that they are trampling over America's poor and middle class?
