Contactin Construction Unions regarding Illegal Aliens

I was wondering if anyone knows how to go about this. My fiance wants me to tell every Union possible the list of Locals using illegal aliens and taking away from Legal American Union workers who are sitting at home collecting unemployment checks at home waiting for a call to go to work. The legal members will not get that call because the dirty unions are paying these illegals cheap money under the table.

I know that construction companies are either non-union or union. Now for the Union ones, I have been coming across a bunch of locals and their companies they use that are hiring illegal aliens. My s.o. also has witnessed quite a few himself as he is in the trades.

I know a few Carpenters locals/companies and a Masonry locals/companies using illegal brazillians day laborers and these are union run jobs.

My question is, would alerting Union officials nationwide via phone and email about these locals and union companies using illegal aliens be a waste of my time or would it benefit our cause?

I am hoping the good unions who do care get involved with the fight of illegal immigration and that the dirty unions get punished somehow. But sometimes I hope for too much.

Can't say I have anything good to say about the Union. Not after what they did to my husband.
I don't care what you call me, so long as you call me AMERICAN.

We are scabs (non-union) at least that is the term they call my bricklayer. I am not pro-union at all, just wondering if getting this information out to them will do any good is all since they are all under that Brotherhood theory.

Not sure what happened to you husband but it doesn't sound good. Sorry in advance

Well, I can tell you, if you and all the rest. Do as I have been doing. Looking up the locals, and sending Info on Illegals taking jobs, from Carpenters, Plumbers. So on so forth. It gets some attention. Like just last Week a Local Boiler Maker. I was talking to him. Gave him some Info, he gave it to his BA. Now they want more, and want to bring it up and there next local Meeting. So it doesn't hurt to send Emails to each local. Tell them the effects and the lose of Bargaining powers there facing. I have thought about making a boiler plate letter for all, but have still been personalizing the letters to current events at that time.
