    Dear Friends:

    This month, the "Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act" will be introduced in both the House and the Senate. The DREAM Act would restore states' rights to determine residency requirements for in-state tuition and establish a path to legal status and eventual citizenship for undocumented youth. These measures would address significant barriers to the success of hardworking immigrant students who were brought to this country at a young age and desire to fully contribute to American society.

    Today, advocates from across the nation will participate in a Day of Action for the DREAM Act. Help us build momentum for this legislation:

    • Call your members of Congress! Urge your Representatives and Senators to co-sponsor the DREAM Act. Enter your zip code above to obtain contact information for your members of Congress.
    • Sign the petition asking Congress and President Obama to pass the DREAM Act in 2009.

    The Dream Act is just another way to give these children legal status so their illegal alien parents can follow suit. Another form of amnesty and family reunification.

    Excuse me. "Your members of Congress" can only represent US citizens and legal residents. Anything else is a foreign "principal" and they cannot represent their interests.
