LEADERSHIP: State needs to improve

We need leaders in Idaho.

Not the business-as-usual, majority of politicians in our state capitol. Our state is not improved by serving only the wealthy, by taxing the citizen and not the businessman, by posturing and grandstanding while our transportation system disintegrates; our schools languish, the number of illegal aliens employed by corporate farms climb, while our state's workers are told -- yet again -- that their substandard wages must be reduced because our legislature and governor refuse to tax those entities that have gorged at our public trough, tax-free, for decades.

We don't need more feel-good declarations, specialty license plates, God Bless America photo ops, nor meaningless excuses ("not in an election year;" "not in these economic times") for political constipation.

Our legislature needs fortitude, political courage -- a recognition that it's not about them, their political cronies, their lobbyist lunch mates, or their place in history. It's about serving all Idaho's citizens, no matter the opposition, no matter the public's perception. It's about recognizing opportunities and backing unpopular decisions. It's about coming prepared, having informed discussions and producing legislation for the common good, regardless of what the old guard wants. It's about doing the right thing.

We need leaders in Idaho.

Wake Up Idaho! Get with the program. Illegal immigration is wrong and destroying our country. Pass all the laws that enable your police and officials to stop it in your state and do it now!! There is no job an American won't do. We are not a nation of immigrants, we're a nation of settlers, developers and conquerors.

Stop this crap. Americans are fed up to the gills with this illegal alien pandering by the federal government so states MUST take the action to stop it. We have no other choice. Tell those forces in your state that support illegal immigration for cheap labor this:

If you can't run your business according to US immigration, US labor and US civil rights laws, then fold it up and let someone who can do it.

Period.

Done. I wish your state well.

Thanks, guys. If we don't get this bill passed this year, we are going to have to fight this thing all over again next year. We have already fought this thing for 2 years now, and each year that we wait, more illegal aliens come in. Just what the open border lobbyists want.

Thanks for helping out. Things are about to get ugly for McKenzie if he doesn't bend pretty quick. I think if the enough Idaho people pressure him, he'll have no choice, or he will lose his seat.

Idaho, you need to do the right thing for your state and for the country! Stop this insane pandering to illegal immigration special interest groups and all those trying to make a buck off the backs of hard working Americans. We ask that you stand up for the rule of law and for the people of Idaho. The people of this great state and of the United States need courageous leaders at this time in our history. Stand up for us! Make us proud!
