Thread: Need a quick update ASAP

I had a emergency on early Friday afternoon that forced me to be away from things for the past day and a half.

Can someone give me a quick update so I know what I need to do? Who needs to be called and e-mailed, etc.

What is the word in DC? I heard some snippets on the news that the guys who put this together were "surprised" by how pissed off people were.

Some are saying this won't pass the Senate or the House.

I will keep fighting. We all must keep fighting.

We need to keep calling on Monday.

The bill will be discussed on Monday and is susposed to go for a cloture vote around 5:30pm EST. We can tune into C-Span

We want our Senators to vote no on Cloture. They have not read this 1,000 page monstrosity, which is S1348.

It's amnesty and we need to tell them we will not accept this.
