Net Neutrality push to control programming on the Internet . I just heard this on Glenn Beck and he had the below address on his screen to go to.

Go to : nointernettakeover.com and comment BEFORE APRIL 8. Site was crashed for awhile because of all the traffic, now they have a web form on the face page so everyone can comment.

would create new government mandates that would give the government unprecedented control over private Internet networks. Specifically, it would limit private broadband companies’ ability to manage the traffic that flows over their networks, and empower government bureaucrats to act as web traffic cops over all information flowing across the Internet.
Thanks for the reminder everyone needs to be informed on this one

Federal appeals court rules for Comcast and against FCC on `net neutrality' case

    Associated Press
    04/06/10 7:50 AM PDT

WASHINGTON — A federal appeals court has ruled that the Federal Communications Commission lacks the authority to require broadband providers to give equal treatment to all Internet traffic flowing over their networks.

Tuesday's ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia is a big victory for Comcast Corp., the nation's largest cable company. It had challenged the FCC's authority to impose so called "net neutrality" obligations.

It marks a serious setback for the FCC, which needs authority to regulate the Internet in order to push ahead with key parts of its massive national broadband plan.

I don't know if this relates but the LA Times has just shifted their sign-ins for blogging and comment to private internet broadband sites.

    ???????????????????????

You now have to have an account with Google, Twitter, Facebook, or others to be able to interact with the Times. Could this be a hand-over to the internet police?
