. . . 6. Is Harry Reid working with the Chinese to force the Bundys out?

    The facts don’t support it.

Reid and his son, Rory, were both deeply involved in a deal with the Chinese-owned ENN Energy Group to build a $5 billion solar farm in Laughlin, Nevada. But that is roughly 177 miles away from Bundy’s 150-acre ranch in Bunkerville, Nev., and 213 miles from the federally owned Gold Butte area where Bundy ‘s cattle graze, according to Google Maps.

It’s worth noting that Rory Reid is the former chair of the Clark County commission (Clark County is located near the Gold Butte area). He left in 2011 to work for a Las Vega law firm representing ENN.

But despite the Reids’ best attempts to secure the land for ENN, and despite the Bureau of Land Management expressing concerns that “trespass cattle” could complicate plans to use land in the Gold Butte area for “offsite mitigation for impacts from solar development,” it was all in vain: The Chinese company eventually shelved the project in June 2013 when it failed to find a customer. The deal is over and the proposed construction will not happen.

Harry Reid and Son Called Crooks by Their Own Hometown Paper

    Kevin “Coach” CollinsAugust 6, 2012

Dingy Harry Reid has a problem. His hometown paper, the Las Vegas Review-Journal (LVRJ) is calling him out for his latest criminal caper. Reid has been trying to help his son Emaciated Rory steal from us and his scheme has been exposed by the LVRJ. Rory is a slimy lawyer who is trying to use Harry’s influence to strong-arm the state of Nevada, its main electric power supplier and the federal government to line their pockets with phony “green job” money.
The Reid family business is political corruption. Like any patriarch Harry Reid is trying to use his family business to help one of his sons.
In 2010 when the SEIU was stealing an election to keep Dingy Harry in office, Rory who was “running” for Governor of Nevada was so hopeless (he lost by 12 points) not even the Democrat’s voter fraud specialists could help him. So what could Harry Reid do?
Rory who is so emaciated looking he could pass as Harry’s father, needed a way to steal the “real money” Democrat Party corruption can give him. Harry is using the power of his office as the Senate Majority Leader to harass and maybe even destroy Nevada Energy (NV Energy) the main supplier of power for the state to help a Chinese “green energy” client of Rory’s law firm.
Rory is a spokesman for the company which is trying to gain a foothold in Nevada. That “green energy” is a total fake and nothing more than a way to steal from the federal treasury means nothing to either man.
Because they are treacherous Democrats neither Dingy Harry nor Emaciated Rory Reid feel the slightest hesitation to help a Communist country destroy an American company, even one in their own home state.
Hiding behind phony excuses that NV Energy “could do more with renewable energy…” Reid blows off critics and insults us by insisting he and his emaciated son have never spoken about this issue. The LVRJ says Harry Reid deserves an ethics complaint for his persistent efforts to damage NV Energy, and who could argue otherwise? He is clearly acting in the best interest of his son and himself not the people who “elected” him.
While the disinfectant that is sunlight will keep this scheme from working – partly because Reid has raised the issue of his own ethics by attacking Mitt Romney – when we finally rid ourselves of Reid’s control of our Senate we must remember this and take whatever action is available to us. We must deliver justice to Harry Reid.

Harry Reid connected to Bundy cattle ranch, according to purged documents

April 12, 2014 by Joe Saunders 899 Comments

Amid the standoff between Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and the federal government, reports are growing that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s little-known ties to a Chinese solar energy giant could have played a role.
Reid, D-Nev., and his oldest son, Rory, a former chairman of the Clark County, Nev., County Commission, were both deeply involved in a plan by ENN Energy Group to build a huge solar farm in southern Nevada, according to a Reuters report from August 2012.
Land the Bundy family has been using for cattle ranching was getting in the way of that project, according to documents formerly posted on the Bureau of Land Management’s government website but since removed, according to Infowars.
It has also been reported that this particular deal is no longer on the table, but was part of the story in 2012.
The acting director of the Bureau of Land Management is Neil Kornze, a former senior policy advisor for Reid.
Here is a screenshot of one crucial document from Google’s cache.
The most interesting line might be:
“Non-Governmental Organizations have expressed concern that the regional mitigation strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone utilizes Gold Butte as the location for offsite mitigation for impacts from solar development, and that those restoration activities are not durable with the presence of trespass cattle.”
The federal government’s story so far is that the whole showdown was necessary for the protection of gopher tortoises.
Here’s how The Blaze’s Dana Loesch puts it in “The Real Story of the Bundy Ranch”:
BLM has proven that they’ve a situational concern for the desert tortoise as they’ve had no problem waiving their rules concerning wind or solar power development. Clearly these developments have vastly affected a tortoise habitat more than a century-old, quasi-homesteading grazing area. If only Clive Bundy were a big Reid donor.
From the document purged from the BLM website, it’s clear there were more than tortoises at stake.
There was a $5 billion foreign energy project in the works, with Reid and his son directly involved.
And there was an American citizen and cattle rancher standing in the way.
Now, federal agents armed with guns and the full power of the federal government have engaged.
    What could go wrong?

UPDATE: This story has been updated to reflect that the ENN Energy Group proposal is no longer on the table.

The War on Federal Bureaucrats Opens at Bundy Ranch

    John Ransom | Apr 16, 2014

I love that picture from the Bundy Ranch.
You know the one that I’m talking about: I’m talking about all of them.
I love the horn-handed Cowboys, with real, honest trail dirt on them; I love the American flags; I love the sagebrush; and I love the rebellion-- as in civil, non-violent disobedience.
And the question now is, where does this go?
Rebellion typically starts after a period of lassitude and hopelessness in the face of overwhelming power. Populations spend years, even decades muttering under their breath about abuses of power, but feel ineffectual to enact real reform.
Then one bright day, a fruit stand merchant, or a cattle rancher—to name two recent examples—makes a stand.
And the reaction is immediate and powerful, with outraged citizen rallying around the cause.
The central power then either lacks sufficient will or sufficient strength to accomplish their goal. Usually, the idea of resistance is so foreign to their conception of reality that it’s difficult for them to even contemplate the grievances on the other side.
But they know bad publicity when they see it; and the rather weak shoulders of the typical bureaucrat then take over.
They start to worry about CYA; covering their own assets.
They worry about their pension, they worry about whether the politicos in charge of policy will hang them out to dry; they worry about what the neighbors will think. And they worry about seeing their name in the newspapers.
While Obama and Reid and Pelosi are immune from consequences and criticism, the rank-and-file $300 a day bureaucrat is the first to have to fall on his sword if things go wrong.
An oppressive bureaucracy needs a ton of paper pushers like these, even some armed with guns, to keep the oppressive scheme going.
As we are seeing at the IRS, where illegal campaign activity as well as political targeting of conservatives has been well documented, these wee people, with small jobs and mini-fiefdoms typically operate in the anonymity of a sea of federal gray-area.
And they like it that way.
At the IRS, the SEC, the Federal Reserve, the Treasury Department, the Park Service and an ad nauseam list of federal agencies, anonymous people, make anonymous decisions in the domestic war of terror that the federal government uses to keep us all in line.
So the key in these situations is not to shout “Down with Obama” in front of the White House, but rather to go after the paper pushers who crave the anonymous power that comes with being a federal bureaucrat these days.
These are the enablers, these are the ones with sufficient knowledge but often with insufficient moral fiber, to stand up and say what really happened under Lois Lerner at the IRS.
These are the ones at Health and Human Services who know exactly what happened with the $300 million dollars spent on the Obamacare website that still doesn’t work.
These are the ones who know what the green energy loan program was all about.
And we should be talking to these people.
Citizens should be targeting these people, asking them to stand up and do their real job, which is to serve and protect the citizens who pay their salaries.
There are snivelers and tyrants amongst the bureaucrats who enjoy the fresh air and bright sunshine that anonymity gives them. We should make it rain on them, hard.
There are patriots amongst the bureaucrats too, and they must know from us that we will protect them, encourage them and reward them.
We have to make it make it clear to the bureaucrats that there are only two sides in the war the federal government is waging upon the rest of us.
There is the right and there is the wrong.
And it’s no longer sufficient to say you’re just following orders.
Orders from whom? I want to know; from whom?

Bundy Ranch Now Surrounded By Heavily Armed Guards As Militia Floods To Nevada Following Harry Reid Threats

    Tuesday, April 15, 2014 10:50
    (Before It's News)

Heavily armed security now surrounds Bundy Ranch in Nevada as militia continues to flood in from across the country in preparation for a federal raid after a threat of terror from soon to be ex-US Senator Harry Reid that this is not over. Cliven Bundy is now surrounded by a crew of armed guards 24-hours a day and militia groups across the country are preparing to fend off a federal government attack upon the property, warning that they want no violence but will be prepared to protect Americans in need who are being targeted by government terrorism. Up to date video reports also below.

Earlier we published news about a Sheriff claiming a massive federal raid on the Bundy Ranch in Nevada is imminent. The Sheriff even says the raid could possibly include violence as the fed was not likely to initiate a scenario it is not prepared to win. Especially not after the humiliating defeat suffered by the BLM as it was forced to retreat last Saturday.

The Bundy Ranch will not be caught off guard, though, as news reports make it clear the property is now prepared with heavily armed security.

Local rancher Cliven Bundy may have his cattle back, but his supporters say they are still preparing for an imminent threat.

Militia groups from all over the country say they are flocking to the Bundy ranch to protect the family from a feared federal government raid.

Bundy now has a whole contingent of armed guards surrounding him 24 hours a day.

“They’re just there, trying to make sure something crazy doesn’t happen to him,” Bundy’s son Ammon Bundy said.

His security detail and family feel he is someone to be protected because of what the federal government could do.

Indicted Businessman Names Harry Reid as Alleged Recipient of Massive Bribe

Posted on 17 April, 2014 by AmyElizabeth

A Utah businessman is rocking both state and national politics after claiming Utah Attorney General John Swallow helped him broker a deal with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to make a federal investigation into his company quietly disappear, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Jeremy Johnson was allegedly told that the price would be $600,000, and claims to have made an initial payment of $250,000 when he was slapped with a federal lawsuit. Now he says he wants his money back.
The Salt Lake Tribune points out that Johnson has no way of knowing whether the funds actually made it to Reid, even if he did make a massive payment to Reid’s alleged intermediary.
The Salt Lake Tribune continues, explaining how the bribe supposedly came to be in 2010:
At the time, Johnson was largely known in Utah as a wealthy philanthropist who spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to ferry supplies into Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake.
Then, with the FTC investigation continuing, Johnson said Swallow suggested Reid could make problems with regulators go away — for a price.
“I said, ‘OK, what do I need to do?’ He’s like, ‘OK, it costs money,’ ” Johnson said, who claimed Swallow was adamant he make a deal.
“I think he told me, ‘Richard Rawle has a connection with Harry Reid,’ ” Johnson said.
He said Swallow at first wanted $2 million to enlist Reid’s help. But [his company] I Works was no longer profitable and he did not have the money, Johnson said, so they eventually agreed on $300,000 upfront and $300,000 later.
Swallow put Johnson in contact with Rawle, whose company has operations in Nevada…
Rawle, who died of cancer last month, had contributed to Reid’s 2010 re-election bid and later bragged to Johnson that the Nevada Democrat helped him delay new federal payday-loan regulations, Johnson said.
“Richard [Rawle] is traveling to LV tomorrow and will be able to contact this person, who he has a very good relationship with. He needs a brief narrative of what is going on and what you want to happen. I don’t know the cost, but it probably won’t be cheap.”
On Oct. 7, Johnson emailed Rawle, insisting there was “rock solid proof” the FTC allegations against I Works were false. “We will do whatever it take[s] to get Senator Reid on our side and hopefully you can help make it happen. Let me know.”
Johnson spent 96 days in jail and has released a number of emails and statements seemingly corroborating parts of his story. However, Swallow insists that Johnson is making “false and defamatory accusations” and that any role he may have played was merely for lobbying purposes.
“There’s nothing wrong with that,” Swallow stated. “As long as I’m not interfering with a government agency as a government official, there’s nothing wrong with me being involved.”
But Johnson told a judge he’s felt guilty about the situation from the start: “The truth is the worst thing I think I’ve done was I paid money knowing it was going to influence Harry Reid…So I’ve felt all along that I’ve committed bribery of some sort there.”
Though the connection to Reid remains unverified, some are remembering how Reid claimed on the Senate floor that Mitt Romney hadn’t paid his taxes for ten years based on far less evidence.
A Las Vegas Review-Journal blog jokes about how Reid might address the situation, if looking in from the outside:
I have a “source” that says that Harry Reid takes bribes all the time. In fact, if you want anything done out of his office, you must come with a suitcase of cash just to get an audience. That’s how he’s gotten so rich on a senator’s salary. He stashes his money in an offshore bank account. And, as a sidebar for Salt Lake church execs, he hasn’t tithed on that bribe money.
Senator Harry Reid’s office has declined to comment.

    Concerning Harry Reid

April 17, 2014 by Ben Crystal

    UPI FILE

    Mr. David Krone
    Chief of Staff
To Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid
    522 Hart Senate Office Building
    Washington, DC 20510
    Mr. Krone,
Listen, buddy, we need to talk about your boss. I know he pays your salary, and I know he exempted you from Obamacare; but this is getting out of hand. I’m not sure if Senator Reid is off his meds or if twilight is falling on the old man a little faster than anticipated, but you need to start thinking about life post-Harry.
    Consider:

    • He accused then-Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney of cheating on his taxes, but he never produced more substantial evidence than hearsay; and even the hearsay itself was denied by the reputed source, John Huntsman Sr., who has denied making the accusation.
    • He detonated the so-called Senatorial “nuclear option,” thereby terminating decades of Senate filibuster tradition, not to mention making a liar out of himself.
    • He called the victims of Obamacare’s fraudulent machinations liars and paid stooges of the “Koch Brothers,” even as Obamacare revealed itself to be the largest financial fraud in human history. When his mendacity was exposed, he actually claimed he hadn’t made the statements — even though the comments are still readily available for viewing even now.
    • He funneled up to $31,000 from his campaign to his granddaughter, despite clear Federal prohibitions on such activity.
    • He intervened on behalf of Chinese-owned business interests on multiple occasions since at least 2010, when he and other Democrats finagled Federal stimulus dollars for a Chicom wind farm.
    • He personally forced the Department of Homeland Security to allow travel visas for sketchy Chinese investors in his son Rory’s Las Vegas hotel property. According to immigration authorities, the Chicoms in question were denied visas on account of “suspicious financial activity.”

But threatening the Bundys in the wake of the biggest Federal public relations face-plant since at least Ruby Ridge, if not Waco itself, crossed the proverbial bridge too far. Of all the people to wade into the Bundy ranch debacle, the most divisive politician outside the Oval Office ought to have been pretty far down the list. With the war between the Bureau of Land Management and Cliven Bundy featuring a tortured-enough plotline already, someone in your office took their eyes off the guy long enough for the cameras to record him whining, “We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it.” I doubt that’s the epitaph the Federal rustlers wanted to hear as they retreated from the standoff. I’m certain it doesn’t put the Bundys in a more cooperative frame of mind for the next round.
I know the future looks dark for you. Your party’s decision to place their own political zeal over the best interests of the Nation has left many of your friends in other Democrat Congressional offices updating their resumes for the inevitable loss of seats approaching this fall. Some of you will likely be out of work when the good Senator has to vacate the Majority Leader’s office. You might even have to go back to your former gig as a corporate stooge for Comcast. But for the love of all that is good and true, get Harry under control. He’s making us look bad.

    Oh, so very sincerely yours,
    America

[Watch] Harry Reid on Stage – Calls Bundy Supporters Domestic Terrorists, Not Over

Posted on 17 April, 2014 by Rick Wells

Listening to Harry Reid speak from his notes, it’s clear that the Bundy Ranch Incident is not over as far as he is concerned. Reid spoke on stage in Las Vegas at the Paris resort at a Las Vegas Review Journal event called “Hashtags & Headlines.”
Reid said, “Now, in Nevada, Ranchers, they pay their taxes, they pay their fees, and they follow the law, and that’s the way it should be. Now, what about Cliven Bundy? Cliven Bundy does not recognize the United States, he says that the United States is a foreign government. He doesn’t pay his taxes, he doesn’t pay his fees, unlike the rest of Nevada ranchers, and then he doesn’t follow the law.”
Reid continues, “There are two court orders that have directed him to ‘get your cattle off the land.’ He has exhausted his ability to go to court and now he continues to thumb his nose at authority. I think that we have to put this into proper perspective. I’ve spoken with Sheriff Gillespie in detail, I’ve spoken with the Attorney General, Eric Holder in detail, I’ve spoken to James Comey, the head of the FBI in detail, I talked to him yesterday, I’ve talked to the secretary of the interior yesterday, and, it’s an issue we cannot let go, uh just walk away from it.”

He said “these people who hold themselves out to be patriots are not, they are nothing more than domestic terrorists.”
He repeated, “What went on up there is domestic terrorism.” He’s half right, he just misidentified the terrorists.
There is your proof. Harry Reid takes this personally and he isn’t going to let it rest. It’s far from over.
Rick Wells is a conservative author who believes an adherence the U.S. Constitution would solve many of today’s problems. “Like” him on Facebook and “Follow” him on Twitter.

Watch Harry calling the kettle black.....Domestic terrorism yep, that about explains it. What else would you call 200 BLM people descending onto a man's property with high powered rifles to steal his property , having a picnic!!!!! It was all fun and games till his friends and family showed up to help him!!!
