more and more muslims and islam supportes are spreading in our country, they opening islamic centers mosque s and etc, see what they doing in England, they are like a leprosi, plague eating away at the core values of the host nation. we cannot allow that here , this is an immigration related problem, that's why I am posting it here.

In my former Home State of New Jersey they are expanding rapidly, see below posting from blog entries in the www.dailyrecord.com regarding application to open a new islamic center, with some questionable names !!!!

I wonder if there are differences with the Muslims like with the Protestant religion??

The article states they want a more central place to worship than Passaic County, yet there is a mosque right in Boonton. The Boonton mosque has applied for expansion. The neighbors aren't too happy either. When the call to prayer comes - they just leave their cars wherever they are and there is not enough parking in Boonton to begin with. Fortunately, the Rockaway mosque would be in a place off the street.

Oh. A "mosque in Passaic County." Would that be the one where Hani Hanjour, Ahmed Alghamdi, Nawaf Alhazmi, and Salem Alhazmi worshipped while they rented an apartment in Paterson, New Jersey, the summer prior to September 11, 2001?

(For those not familiar with the names, those are deceased colleagues of the late Mohammed Atta. They died on 9/11. Hani Hanjour was the 'pilot' who crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon.)

I hope the Daily Record will ask the members of this Islamic Center for thorough and wide-ranging interview. And I hope these members will accept the invitation to be interviewed.

Among the questions I'd suggest for the Daily Record to ask would be whether any members of their congregation have ever had links --of any kind-- to any terrorist organizations.

That is a fair question, in light of recent events both here and in the UK. We in the public have the right to know. So anyone inclined to express phony 'outrage' over some non-existent 'intolerance,' spare me.

In the United States we revere the Freedom of Religion. So, from that strict perspective, these people should be free to congregate and pray according to the dictates on of their concencious. On the other hand, if you look at the probems in Great Britain and other places in the world, where mosques are being used to propogate hatred, intolerance, and promote (aid and abett) terrorists and terroristic activities, I understand the apprehension that people have about having a mosque in their neighborhood. How can you have a free country with Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Association and Freedom of Religion -- and then sit back and watch an extremely small minority abuse those freedoms to kill you and your countrymen?

Today we celebrate the Independence of this Great Nation , in order to keep those freedoms we must no give any to those whos beliefes are different that ours !!! masked by the religious excuses to plant thier retarded , ill and 600 years behind modern civilazation- ignorant culture, that's is destroying and killing lifes worldwide !!

I say NO to Muslims and islam!!

We have a lot of Muslims in my area too. However, here we've had minimal problems. The ones who come to my area tend to be modern, educated professionals. There was a Muslim girl working with me once who belonged to a sect of Islam that was so liberal, that the Saudis won't let them into Mecca. This leads nicely to the question: are there different sects? Yes, and many different schools of thought within the traditions. What causes Westerners concern: the doctrine of Jihad. The liberal view is that Jihad is the struggle for Islam, which could take the form of being a good example and speaking out for the Muslim faith. At the other extreme, some view it as a literal military conquest of non-Islamic peoples. The September 9 attack was inspired by an extremist interpretation of this doctrine. Jihad comes from the Koran, is one of the pillars of Islam, and a major feature of the early history of Islam, which involved military struggles within Arabia and beyond. Out of this came the concept of the Dhimmi, a non-Muslim living under Muslim rule. Their rights and status were supposed to be highly limited: again, interpretations varied from time to time and place to place. Some Westerners fear being reduced to Dhimmi status if Islam gains dominance in their countries. The request for Sharia (Islamic courts) in the UK was alarming to many, and rightly so, as it implies a challenge to the sovereignty of the UK in their own land.

Within nations dominated by Islam, there is a lot of cultural variation. In Saudi Arabia women can't drive cars or travel alone, whereas in Kuwait they can do all that. In some nations veiling is not mandatory, Jordanian royal woman have been out at official functions without head coverings. Turkey was the first Islamic nation to undergo extensive westernization of their culture under Attaturk after WWI.

Nor can family connections be trusted when assessing an individual Muslim. Most of Osama bin Ladin's family is modern, somewhat westernized and was appalled at his actions.

All that said, the vast majority of Muslims just want to live life and enjoy their families like we do, and have little interest in conflict. The few that don't, however, have caused a lot of damage and inspired suspicion of those who want to come to the west. As we saw six years ago, a few people can slip in and use our technology against us, causing incredible carnage. But we also learned that we can resist succumbing to their pressure.

The "few" radicals are over a 100 MILLION in number. The recent terror plots in UK was carried out by DOCTORS! That should shake people up. England has a serious shortage of doctors and has imported some 22,000, just another fallout of Universal Health Care.

The possiblity of 'sleepers' is very real. In the UK there may also bea factor of cultural arrogance similar to what we are seeing here from Mexico.
