    Actually, the Prez is asking for funding. I assume this for stuff that's already been passed.

    We need 1348 killed and funding to support the current enforcement laws. Many senators staffers are putting you on hold hoping that you will go away, hang on America needs your support.

    Dixie, the way I understand it, this supplememtal funding is separate from the immigration bill. Bush is advising they don't bring the immigration bill up again until this get this security thing going.

    If they are serious about border security, then funding and border security can be fast tracked through Congress. It can be a stand alone bill, it does not have to be a barganing chip for amnesty.

    I've been tied up on the phone much of the day with work, but I've been emailing. When I'm done around 4:30 I'll start calling. I would guess that most of the scoundrels will be gone by then, but I'll be leaving messages.
