    NEW TELEPHONE/VOICE MAIL GREETING

Wouldn't it be something, if this caught on, all over the United States?

"GOOD MORNING, WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."

"Press 1 if you speak English."
"Press 2 to disconnect until you can"
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

It would be great and also fair to all others who speak another language besides English and Spanish.

    Phone greeting

Since I'm bilingual Spanish/English I get stuck when they ask this dumb question. I have never asked to speak to the spanish machine because it might be one of those word for word translations of what is being said in english. And that is always a bad translation. Anyhow, I'd like to know who was the originator of this idea. I never have this option when I go to another spanish country.
