New York City government to allow noncitizens to vote in city elections

    .
See NYC Is About To Let 800K Noncitizen Immigrants Vote In Its Elections

It is both shameful and stunning that the New York City Democrat Party Leadership has decided to allow foreign nationals to compete at the ballot box with New York City citizens. Now tell me the Democrat Party Leadership has the best interests of New York City citizens in mind.

You just can’t make this crap up. The Democrat Party Leadership, once an advocate for hard working American citizens and their families, has now GONE MAD

It is absolutely shameful that those in our mainstream media and Hollywood crowd, having achieved fame, fortune and great success under a free market, free enterprise system, now work to destroy that system and impose a notoriously evil, Cuban style government, on America’s future generations.

New York State law mandates only citizens may vote!

    .
    See:
New York City Council Democrat Attacks NYC’s Non-Citizen Voting Bill which begins:

"You should know that on December 9, 2021, a vote is scheduled to take place in the New York City Council that could allow 800,000 noncitizens to vote in local elections in our city, including the race for Mayor, Comptroller, Public Advocate, and City Council.

This is a dangerous and misguided effort being made by some elected officials to overlook the law which offers citizens—not noncitizens—in New York City, the right to vote."

And what does the law state in New York?

Constitution of the State of New York Art. II § 1. [Qualifications of voters]

"Every citizen shall be entitled to vote at every election for all officers elected by the people and upon all questions submitted to the vote of the people provided that such citizen is eighteen years of age or over and shall have been a resident of this state, and of the county, city, or village for thirty days next preceding an election."

STATE OF NEW YORK 2021 ELECTION LAW

§ 5–102. Qualifications of voters; age and residence

    1. No person shall be qualified to register for and vote at any election unless he is a citizen of the United States and is or will be, on the day of such election, eighteen years of age or over, and a resident of this state and of the county, city or village for a minimum of thirty days next preceding such election.

Illegal aliens should not be issued Drivers Licenses in this country either. It is a privilege to drive on our roads, not a right. Those rights are reserved for legal American citizens and those legally authorized to be in our country.

They are not our citizens. No vote, no drivers license!

Why shouldn’t foreign nationals be allowed to vote in our elections?

    .
: Why shouldn’t foreign nationals be allowed to vote in local elections?

The answer is, because foreign nationals are not yet citizens of the United States and we are a nation governed by the rule of law. And to become a citizen of the United States a noncitizen must go through our nation’s naturalization process, which is designed to help them assimilate ___ learn our customs, language, laws, history, etc.,___ and then decide if they really want to become a citizen of the United States by taking our nation’s OATH OF ALLEGIANCE, which is the final step in becoming a legal citizen of the United States and thereby earning the legal right to vote in our elections.
Let us keep in mind the wisdom of Justice Story:

“If aliens might be admitted indiscriminately to enjoy all the rights of citizens at the will of a single state, the Union might itself be endangered by an influx of foreigners, hostile to its institutions, ignorant of its powers, and incapable of a due estimate of its privileges." – Joseph Story

They are not our citizens. No vote, no drivers license!
Speaking of New York issuing drivers' licenses to illegal entrants, which then allows them to drive in surrounding states, our very own Supreme Court has emphatically pointed out, when acts of corruption infect a federal electoral process in one state “they transcend mere local concern and extend a contaminating influence into the national domain”

Driver's Licenses issued to illegal aliens should be deemed Null & Void and NOT recognized in any States!

This is our State governments aiding and abetting illegal aliens to drive on our roads and stay in our country.

    Make them self deport!

The good news is, if the NYC Council passes this legislation and it is not vetoed by Mayor Bill de Blasio, its immediate challenge in the courts is already confirmed!

See: GOP vows fight against ‘dangerous’ legislation that would let NYC non-citizens vote

    December 2, 2021

"On Thursday, Councilman Joe Borrelli (R-Staten Island), who was recently selected to be the heavily Democratic body’s minority leader, fumed that the measure violates the Empire State’s constitution.

“The people in this building are doing something against the state constitution,” he said. “The truth is, this will influence our elections, and the people who are registered to vote, the 5.6 million registered voters, ought to have a say in this.”

Of course, those promoting diluting the vote of New York's citizens, by allowing 800K noncitizens to vote, care not what the rule of law states, including NYC's Charter which indicates changing a law of such magnitude requires it to be approved by referendum and not a mere majority vote of the City Council who obviously rejects consent of the governed.

Angry NYC Council intent on allowing noncitizens to vote in NYC elections

For those who are unaware of the importance of our nation’s naturalization process, and how it helps to produce a better voter, see: Noncitizen voting doesn’t pass this test

“The test that the council is allowing new voters to skip is not some formality. It tests knowledge with which any American voter should be familiar.”

The fact is foreign nationals should not be allowed to vote in our elections because the United States is governed by the rule of law, and it requires one to be a citizen of the United States to vote in our elections, including NYC elections.

And to become a citizen of the United States and be eligible to vote, noncitizens must go through our nation’s naturalization process, which is designed to help them assimilate ___ learn our customs, laws, language, history, ect.,___ and then decide if they really want to become a citizen of the United States by passing our country’s naturalization CITIZENSHIP TEST, and then taking our nation’s OATH OF ALLEGIANCE, which is the final step in becoming a legal citizen of the United States and thereby earning the legal right to vote in our elections.

New York City non-citizen voting law found to be unconstitutional!

So, as it turns out, the New York City non-citizen voting law was un-constitutional as many here have stated.

See:Judge throws out NYC law allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections

"A New York City law allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections was struck down Monday by a judge who said it violated both the state constitution and various provisions of state law."

    And HERE IS THE RULING

NYC Democrat Leadership's attempt to dilute black vote held to be unconstitutional

    .
I hope the attempt by New York City’s notoriously evil Democrat Leadership to dilute the vote of New York City’s Black citizens is a wake-up call to Black citizens confirming the Democrat Leadership is not acting in their best interests and has been taking their vote for granted for generations.
