    New Zogby poll on immigration

    Theres a new Zogby poll on immigration. 81% of Americans support using the police to round up illegal aliens. 56% oppose Bush's immigration plan. 53% want to put troops on the border. The biggest surprise (to some people anyway) was that the segment of the population with the strongest anti-immigration feelings were blacks and women.

    A new opinion poll by Zogby International indicates Americans are hardly pleased with the Bush administration on the subject of illegal immigration.

    The poll, cited on CNN's "Lou Dobbs Tonight" program yesterday, noted a huge majority – 81 percent – believes local and state police should help federal authorities enforce laws against illegal immigration. Only 14 percent disagreed.

    What do you want to bet this will NOT make the headlines in the Charlotte Disturber, The New York Lies, or any other of the left wing rags?
