Bush is the eldest of three children of Florida governor Jeb Bush. (He's also the nephew of president George W. Bush and the grandson of president George Bush the elder.) He is often called simply "George P." Bush campaigned for his uncle during the 2000 presidential campaign; his good looks and Hispanic heritage (his mother, Columba, was born in Mexico) made him a popular figure with younger voters. George P. Bush's speech at the 2000 GOP convention earned him comparisons to another political heir, the late John Kennedy Jr. Bush has an undergraduate degree from Rice University earned a law degree from the University of Texas in 2003. In 2004 he announced that he would marry a law school classmate, Amanda Williams.

While most of P.'s friends insist that the budding pol's moderate views on immigration are legit, Donovan says that he thinks P. is "a lot more open-minded" than his uncle.

George P. Bush might be a hunkalicious young Republican, but he still seems a bit creepy. So TSG wasn't too surprised to learn that "P" was involved in a troubling 1994 incident described in this Metro-Dade Police Department report. On December 31, 1994, Bush showed up at 4 AM at the Miami home of a former girlfriend. He proceeded to break into the house via the woman's bedroom window, and then began arguing with his ex's father. Bush, then a Rice University student, soon fled the scene. But he returned 20 minutes later to drive his Ford Explorer across the home's front lawn, leaving wide swaths of burned grass in his wake. Young Bush avoided arrest when the victims declined to press charges.

George P's most famous quote is shown below:
"U.S. President George W. Bush's Hispanic nephew, George P. Bush Saturday, accepted criticism of some U.S. policies during a campaign trip to Mexico, calling the arming of Border Patrol agents with plastic pellet guns "reprehensible."
The younger Bush, son of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, told a news conference Saturday that his uncle, if re-elected, would turn the focus of foreign policy "back to this hemisphere."
"If there has been American approval for this policy, that is reprehensible," Bush said of the guns, essentially paintball projectiles filled with chile powder. "It's kind of barbarous."
Speaking in sometimes halting Spanish mixed with English, he said his uncle was not blame for the gun policy, which has angered Mexicans; instead, he blamed it on "some local INS (Immigration) guy who's trying to be tough, act macho."
The use of the guns is in fact federal policy, and they are in use in several states. "

And George P has a temper, which caused a little legal trouble:

He also spoke at the April 9 2006 illegal alien rally in Dallas, but I haven't been able to find out what he said. It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.
