Today I saw a car w/ Mex. plates blow through school X-walk

Kind of long winded, so forgive me, but this pissed me off so much:

Today I was driving near my house, stopped by the nearby elementary school at a marked cross walk at school let out time, with the kids working as crossing guards with the stop signs on poles, whistles and bright yellow helmets. So I'm waiting for the traffic to be let go and what happens? A car with Mexico license plates just drives right through the intersection without even slowing down, let alone stopping for the crossing guard.

There were no kids in the lane he was driving through, but a crossing guard stop sign is still a stop sign. This moronic Mexican had this stupid blank expression on his face, just smiling away like a retard as he went right on through as if the kid holding the sign out and blaring the whistle at him didn't even exist. I give a glance over at the little girl seargent who led the crossing guard, and we just looked at each other in disgust, like, who the hell does this lowlife think he is. Then he drives on down the streeet in front of the school, barreling on at no less 40-45 miles an hour, in a clearly marked '25 MPH when children are present zone'.

Either this clown knows no English, is braindead or completely oblivious to the law. Either way, it just infuriated me, these people come here in their cars with Mexico license plates, who never pay any CA registration, most likely with no CA driver's license, no CA insurance and not the sense to know or obey the traffic laws. No wonder these scum cause so many accidents and kill so many innocent people.

If this guy had run over a little kid, I would have followed him and beat the living frijoles out of him, I wouldn't care what happened to me. The thing is, this happens all the time where I live in San Diego County. These Mexican Nationals and Mexican illegals do whatever they want here, who cares who they put at risk. What if some kid, seeing the crossing guard halting traffic and not paying attention, darts across the street and gets killed by this idiot? I bet he would've just keep on driving.

It makes me sick to think just how safe the streets will be when Bush starts letting all these Mexican truckers careen down the roads with no concern for anyone, totally disregarding or too stupid to obey red lights or stop signs.

Gee, thank you Mr. Bush, another new and wonderful way for Americans to die at the hands of Mexicans, just so you can save your big business buddies a few bucks on their labor costs, who cares if a few or a few hundred kids get splattered by 10 ton semi-trucks. All that matters is that you let your masters save a buck. It's not like you or your family will ever have to worry about getting killed crossing the street by some moron from south of the border ignoring the law. Or maybe you think that safety 'values don't stop at the Rio Grande'.

Chances are, he is not familiar with crossing guards and school zones. Just one more reason to keep illegals out of our country. Clashes of the cultures.

Same thing happened here. A friend of mine was waiting at the bus stop for his child. The bus stopped, the little stop sign came out of the bus, and all the kids starting piling out. At the same time, a car driven by an immigrant, went around the bus! She is lucky she didn't plow over the whole group. My friend chased her on foot. When she stopped, she could not understand a lick of English and had no idea what she had done. How could she even be driving in the US? Her plates were local.

If they happpen to hit and run and posssibly kill, they definitley won't stop. Majority don't speak or read in English, so they think they have a free pass to drive as they please because states like Florida give them a license based on liitle documentation. Drivng is a privilage, not a right. They should not be able to get a DL until they are here legally. If they drive for a living, stay in Mexico and run over and kill people over there. And now our smarter than thou prez is gonna let truckers in. Hello It's pretty obvious they don,t obey our laws,so lets let them drive big rigs and kill more of us. Way to go Mr Prez. Hopefully, he never or whoever supports illegals, feel the pain I feel, and countless others just like me, do everyday. The man charged in my families death had a expired license and got his DL with a passport and immigration papers. What was his DL record like in Mexico?? How many more has he maimed or killed that we dont know about
Do They understand the word ILLEGAL????

I found this while looking for a picture of a Mexican stop sign.

Driving in Mexico ( Or Mexicans in America) It's fairly long but interesting, good bit on truck drivers too!

Mexican stop signs look exactly like ours except for the word ALTO instead of STOP as you can see from the picture, second line from the bottom if you scroll down.

We know they're uneducated but the real reason for ignoring stop signs is their omnipresent lawlessness.

(Whoops, changed my first "their" to "they're." I need to proof read these things a little better, especially when talking about lack of education. )

I had an encounter with one myself. I was driving down the street with my teenage son in the front seat, when this idiot coming from the opposite direction, made an abrupt left turn in front of me. I slammed on the breaks and turned the wheel to the right to try to avoid colliding with the side of his van. I ended up on the sidewalk (thank God no one was walking). Fortunately, a man was in his front yard and witnessed the accident.

This illegal tried to say that I was speeding, and that I caused the accident. I told him that in this country, a person making a left turn must yield to oncoming traffic. Furthermore, had I actually been speeding, my son and I would probably be dead, because I wouldn't have been able to do anything but broadside him. I also asked him, if I was speeding, why on earth would he try to turn in front of a speeding car? He didn't use a turn signal, didn't slow down, just turned in front of me.

When the cop arrived and asked for our driver's license, he didn't even have one! He said the van belonged to his employer. I asked the cop if he was going to give him a ticket for the accident, and he told me, NO! The witness couldn't even believe what he was hearing, and became so angry, he gave me his number and went back into his yard. I then asked the cop if he was going to give him a ticket for driving without a license, and he told me that he wasn't 'required' to do so. He informed me that it is the 'discretion' of the officer whether or not to issue a ticket.

Can you believe this? Anyway, I prevailed..his employer's insurance company had to pay for my car rental and all repairs.

If you like adventure try driving in Mexico some time.

The thing is Mexican trucks have been allowed in our country for years.
I remember going on an accident years ago where a Mexican truck took a turn to fast on a bridge when a car was coming from the other direction, the trailer was well into the other lane the car hit the rear wheels of the trailer flipping it top of the car and smashing the top down, they had no place to move as they were on a bridge, the car caught on fire with four people trapped inside. A witness said he heard screams before we got there.

Sorry to hear about your accident, but I am glad that you and your son are safe. There are no consequences for these illegal drivers, and they will continue to do harm until we enforce our laws. Kind of like the smugglers renting cars and then leaving them in the desert. That expense will go to the consumer too. We can't catch a break.

That makes me sick. The next time, it could be one of us.
