immigration reform

Aspen’s business leaders are aiming to advocate for federal immigration reform, hoping to preserve the resort’s supply of low-wage labor and soften laws that increasingly penalize employers for hiring undocumented workers.

Warren Klug, chair of the Aspen Chamber Resort Association’s board of directors, recently met with both of Colorado’s U.S. senators and the local congressman on the issue in Washington, D.C.

He also drafted a resolution supporting immigration reform, and introduced it to the ACRA board of directors meeting Tuesday.

“The issue is that on the federal level, immigration and employment issues are a mess,â€

For the information of the membership, this article appeared in local newspaper of Aspin color ado recently. It shows the kind of respect the privileged super rich residents of this well know elitist resort have for the law. They have no shame at all. They as much as admit to knowingly employing Illegal Labor (a federal offense). The aristocrats have the gaull to be offended and threatened because the government makes some pathetic attempts to enforce the our laws. These people are the US equivalent to the Mubarak's and Assad's and Kaddafi's of the middle east. They have so much money and power that a simple fine or civil penalty will have zero effect. They need hard Jail time or better yet the Guillotine!

Pay a Reasonable Wage that leaves a dollar or two for the employee AFTER the Government strongarm robs its share, and you will get plenty of applicants...
No more riding the taxpayers to cover the other costs of living in the U S.

Fair wages for people or go out of business for lack of employees that do all the work for you...
