    Let's load up the voice mail boxes, send e-mails & faxes, etc. !

    I've been sending emails to their chiefs of staff, asking them to forward my message to the senator. I first Google the senator's name along with the phrase "chief of staff," and then match this with the chief of staff listed in: www.outsourcecongress.org to make sure I'm emailing the right staffer. Very few of the emails bounce back.

    Many of the DC voicemails on that list are still open.

    the local numbers for the senate at www.numbersusa.com
    it seems to me that we should fill every voice box this weekend on every phone line

    With the Democrats like Bingaman I'm adding in some information about how this will also increase foreign H1B-like workers! The recent youtube vid exposing fraud in this program (and shown on Lou Dobbs) really gives credence to misgivings about these programs.

    Also, I remember a figure saying that 51% of Hispanics don't want amnesty. It takes the wind out of their sails about that argument.

    Isn't it an AFFIRMATIVE vote i.e. 60 must vote yes?

    I thought the cloture vote works the opposite way - 60 Senators must vote YES on cloture.
