    The NY State Assembly convenes at 12:30 and will likely take up the bill passed yesterday (s.6484) in the NY State Senate that prevents Spitzer from giving driver's licenses to illegal aliens sometime during today's session.

    Assemblywoman Ginny Fields will be appearing on the Lou Dobbs show tonight to discuss Spitzer's Plan and the opposition against it. She has also put together her own bill opposing it which has been filed with the Assembly. She will be talking about that on Dobbs, as well. Here is her home page:

    I am listening to the stream. I believe they just voted on the bill that would have stopped the Spitzer DL plan and it was defeated by a wide margin?
