A Newsweek blog now notes that Sen. Reid's dragging out the amnesty debate and vote may be starting to endanger several Senators in his Party who are more and more dreading having to run for re-election in 2012 with a recent amnesty vote on their record.

NumbersUSA pledges to do all it can during those campaigns to inform the voters in those states about the Senators who voted for an amnesty to add millions more workers to compete directly with unemployed Americans.

It seems possible that the Senate could vote on the DREAM Act amnesty as early as Sunday (Majority Leader Reid is keeping Senators in session all weekend.) You will be unlikely to get a phone answered on the weekend, so you need to voice your opinion today.

All of the Senators above have great sympathy for the young adults who presumably were brought here illegally as children and now find themselves many years later in tough situation.

But we will shine a spotlight on the fact that these Senators are totally ignoring why the poster children of the DREAM amnesty got into this predicament in the first place. What caused it? The cause was that our government allowed their parents to illegally take a job from an American worker and then to illegally keep that job for years and years.

THIS DREAM Act amnesty does nothing to keep that from happening again and again forever.

Why are these 2012 candidates willing to perpetuate this form of illegal immigration while holding out the promise that everybody who brings kids illegally in the future can hope to have those kids get an amnesty, too.
