Obama Supporter Pulls Gun on Two Women Protesting Against the President

I thought it was the super evil, conservative, NRA members who were quick to pull a gun when someone disagrees with them? Well, we know that’s ridiculous.

However, it appears that supporters of the president aren’t above pulling a gun on those with different political stances from them.

According to WSBTV, two women who were protesting the president, holding signs calling for his impeachment, found themselves staring down the barrel of a gun during their protest.

Marge Moore and Toni Pendley were taking part in Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment protest. The nationwide protests use interstate overpasses to display messages critical of the president and his policies.

The two women told WSBTV that a man pulled up and pointed a gun right at them, before leaning over and splashing some kind of liquid on the ground around them.

Not ones to be intimidated, the ladies say they’ll be back, from WSBTV,

The women filed a police report with Gwinnett County Police Department and said they’re not backing down.

“We’re going to come back out here. We’re not going to let him intimidate us or anyone,” Pendley said.

Pendley said it happened Saturday on Steve Reynolds Boulevard as she her friend, Marge Moore, were taking part in Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment. It's a national movement that places signs along interstate overpasses with anti-Obama messages.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Two Gwinnett County women claim they were threatened with a gun while conducting a protest to impeach President Barack Obama.

"I was standing there with a sign and I looked and he had a gun pointed at me," protestor Toni Pendley told Channel 2's Kerry Kavanaugh.

Pendley said she was conducting a peaceful protest that elicited a not so peaceful reaction.

"He was looking straight at me," she said.

Pendley said it happened Saturday on Steve Reynolds Boulevard as she her friend, Marge Moore, were taking part inOverpasses for Obama's Impeachment. It's a national movement that places signs along interstate overpasses with anti-Obama messages.

"He was in the driver's seat. He was the only person in the car," Moore said. She said she didn't see the gun.

Another witness did and called 911. Channel 2 Action News did verify that by obtaining a copy of that call.

"All of a sudden he leans over and I feel this liquid on my foot," Moore said.

She said she believes the same person splashed some type of liquid along her legs and feet before he took off.

The women filed a police report with Gwinnett County Police Department and said they're not backing down.

"We're going to come back out here. We're not going to let him intimidate us or anyone," Pendley said.

They plan to return to Steve Reynolds Boulevard on Saturday.
