Thread: Americans Are Fed Up

Just thought I would let all the members of the Senate, and the ones I can email in the House, know that this amnesty thing is never going to fly:


Dear Senator:

The issue of illegal immigration is heating up in this country and I would like to set the record straight on a few points. First of all, the plight of the people who knowingly break our laws to come here illegally is NOT the responsibility of the American people. We have no obligation to use our tax dollars to aide in the comfort of the millions of illegal aliens who have no respect for our laws, yet we are being forced to pay $346 billion a year to do just that. We also do not OWE them amnesty, or any other path to legalization. However, this administration and Congress ARE obligated to enforce the laws that have been passed by Congress, and securing the borders and enforcing current immigration laws is NOT contingent on getting an amnesty bill through like some of you would have people believe. It’s your obligation to this country as an elected official to do your job!

Our immigration system is NOT broken, Washington is broken. We already allow more people to come here legally each year than any other country. We currently have about 20 foreign worker programs for people to come here, and in the past year, we have allowed a million foreign workers to come here on just the H-1B visas alone. Unemployment is at a record high, yet no one even talks about stopping foreign work visas until the 25 million unemployed Americans have jobs. Instead, we hear that we need more foreign workers. Unbelievable!

The American people are not stupid, and they all know that trying to pass an amnesty bill is purely political. The Republicans want their cheap labor and the Democrats think by pandering to Hispanic groups, they will get more future Democrat voters. Regardless of the political party each of you belong to, you are dismissing the biggest voting block there is, which is the majority of the American people who are against any kind of amnesty ever again. And this majority of the American people is sick and tired of not being representing on this issue by some of you in Congress. When you meet with groups to talk about it, you talk to groups who agree with you, like churches and the Hispanic caucus. You never invite people on the other side of this issue to come and say how they feel. You never discuss the ugly side of illegal immigration, and believe me, there is one. Tens of thousands of innocent Americans are being killed and our children are being sexually abused each year by the illegal aliens who been allowed to cross our border illegally and live here unchecked. Our streets are littered with illegal alien gang members, and our national forests are being trashed with millions of tons of garbage, with parts of it being closed off to American citizens because of dangerous foreign drug activity. In the midst of all this, we hear yet another cry for amnesty. Again, unbelievable!

The American people are fed up, and somebody in Washington needs to start stepping up to the plate to do the right thing for the legal citizens in this country, instead of representing the illegal aliens who are not even supposed to be here in the first place The American people deserve a whole lot more than they have been getting from this government, and they will speak loud and clear in November and again in 2012.

YOU CAN NOT reward this behavior or you are just inviting it yet again...

End the cycle and demand Immigration Enforcement for Once.
