ObamaCare Fail: Far Worse than 'Glitches' & 'Hiccups'

The ObamaCare online health exchange marketplace - plagued by glitches, hiccups, bugs? Or by far more fundamental flaws and disastrous defects that even the Left is beginning to acknowledge?

Ah, they're just birthing pains, don't you know - startup issues, what you'd expect with any big, complex venture that rolls out nationwide. That's what ObamaCare supporters and shills are saying about the continuing problems and complaints swirling around the official launch of the Obama's health care takeover scheme. But ongoing delays and difficulties using the official healthcare.gov website to apply for health insurance - those are far from the only issues threatening the future of ObamaCare.

As people do go online to see policy options - which you can't do without turning over all sorts of detailed, vital personal information - they're finding that the Affordable Care Act doesn't live up to its name. The undeniable dollars-and-cents realities on the ground don't match the baseless promises Obama repeatedly made in selling his snake oil to the American people. Instead of getting cheaper health insurance, many are finding coverage more expensive and deductibles off the chart.

Of course, the ObamaCare apologists and advocates are trying to spin away from the shock and awe reaction of unhappy, frustrated ObamaCare applicants. And inevitably they'll pretend that, once the technical snafus are overcome, once the website is functioning, all is well, though it won't be. Because even in reliably liberal bastions of hardcore progressive ideology - even in places like San Francisco - the ugly truth about ObamaCare is starting to hit home.

From the San Francisco Chronicle: "The Affordable Care Act isn't affordable after all"…Obama sold voters a "bill of goods". Other reporting tells us that insurance companies that would be issuing the policies sold through the ObamaCare exchanges are receiving faulty or incomplete data - meaning some folks won't receive coverage even after they thought they had signed up.

Then there are the ongoing warnings about scammers who may well be setting their sights on unsuspecting Americans who go online, offer up their intimate personal data to bogus ObamaCare sites, and find themselves the victims of identify theft. And the public opinion polls that keep sagging, showing the country continues to oppose the O-care scheme.

And maybe the biggest recent bummer of all for ObummerCare - a shellacking of one of the law's head cheerleaders, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius - a public thrashing at the hands of the Daily Show's Jon Stewart. Yep, the generally liberal comedy talk show host and shellacker of Republicans, went after Sebellius on his program - blasting the disastrous ObamaCare rollout, questioning her repeatedly about how many people have actually enrolled - she didn't know…or wouldn't say.

We suppose the Stewart skewering was just a glitch, a hiccup, a bug in an otherwise reliable system of liberal lies, deceptions, spin jobs, and telling of fairy tales.
