All across America yesterday, people were running into frustrating technical problems because the online Obamacare exchanges are full of glitches. Over fifty percent of the exchanges demonstrated critical failures, CNN reported. This is astonishing because CNN has long taken a pro-Obamacare stance.

“The CNN medical team branched out. We tried in about 20 different state states. In 12 of them we hit glitches,” CNN reported. “Sometimes it made it impossible to sign up. There were error messages or that little annoying kind of twirly thing.”

ObamaCare Launch a Disaster

Arlington, VA – Americans for Prosperity, the nation’s largest free-market grassroots organization, issued the following statement about ObamaCare open enrollment which began today.

“With the ObamaCare launch today, Americans are seeing the future of government run healthcare,” said AFP President Tim Phillips. “Promise after promise has been broken with higher costs, fewer choices and new taxes. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of so-called “glitches” throughout the country including numerous delays, a failing website, no website in Spanish, and no verification of income. We’re supposed to trust navigators who are given no background checks, yet can view the personal income information of millions of Americans. Add to that the diminished choice of doctors, rising premiums, and many new taxes, and we’re just beginning to see the real impact of ObamaCare.”

Americans for Prosperity has led the charge against ObamaCare implementation throughout the summer, with events around the country and millions spent in television and radio ads. AFP will continue to urge the full repeal of ObamaCare.
