Well I will believe it when I see it, as far as I am concerned the Rebugnants and the Democ-rats are both in cahoots to pass it,why, to get the corporations out from under the healthcare policy's they have for the American workers. They say it is too expensive for them not what I say, I think it is not enough profits for them at the workers expense, remember they got rid of most pensions already, the same for the match in your 401K deposit, and of course healthcare for workers ,all going or gone!!!!...In the mean time everyone is getting exempted, leaving taxpayers to fit whatever bill there will be..........So much for "if you like your Doctors you can keep them"!!!! I think it is time that taxpayers get exempted too!!!! Enough is enough of this bull crap!!!!

Another Part of Obamacare Delayed Until 2015

    Tuesday, August 13, 2013

We’ve already seen the Obamacare administration put the breaks on the employer mandate until after the 2014 midterm elections while individuals continue to suffer with insurance loss, fewer working hours and uncertainty but now, Forbes is reporting the Obamacare cost caps will also be delayed for at least a year.
First, there was the delay of Obamacare’s Medicare cuts until after the election. Then there was the delay of the law’s employer mandate. Then there was the announcement, buried in the Federal Register, that the administration would delay enforcement of a number of key eligibility requirements for the law’s health insurance subsidies, relying on the “honor system” instead. Now comes word that another costly provision of the health law—its caps on out-of-pocket insurance costs—will be delayed for one more year.

IRS moves to share taxpayer information under ObamaCare

    Tuesday, August 13, 2013

The IRS has finalized its rule for disclosing taxpayer information under provisions of ObamaCare.
The agency will share personal information such as income and tax filing status with states and other agencies to confirm whether or not people are eligible for tax credits to buy health insurance in new state-based marketplaces.
Republicans and critics of the healthcare reform law have questioned the tax agency’s ability to effectively safeguard Americans’ personal information when it is shared with outside officials. They have worried that people could have their identities stolen or have sensitive details made public.
Critics have also pointed to recent revelations that the agency had subjected conservative groups and others to extra scrutiny.

Administration delays ObamaCare caps on out-of-pocket costs

    Tuesday, August 13, 2013

The Obama administration has delayed a key provision in President Obama’s healthcare reform law that would limit out-of-pocket insurance costs for consumers until 2015.

The cap, which includes deductibles and co-payments, was supposed to limit consumer costs to $6,350 for an individual and $12,700 for a family. But administration officials have quietly delayed the requirement for some insurers, allowing them to set their own limits starting in 2014.
The delay has been outlined on the Labor Department’s website since February, but went largely unnoticed.

Obamacare Exemption: None Dare Call It Treason

by Charles Hurt 14 Aug 2013 1394 post a comment
WASHINGTON -- Even by the standards of Washington, this is one sick, twisted and deceitful deal. Quite possibly, it is a whole new low, even for the federal government.

Had we innocent, taxpaying citizens not long ago lost our capacity to be outraged by the disgraceful manner in which this place operates, we would already be in all-out political revolt. Against President Obama. Against Democrats in Congress. And, especially, Republicans.

Literally, revolutionary wars have been fought over less.

Last week, while many Americans spent hard-saved money on long overdue vacations, the snakes and weasels inside the federal bureaucracy schemed until they hatched an evil plan. It would feather their own nests with more of your money, protect themselves from the ravages of the laws they foist upon us, desecrate our Constitution and then smear us with insult so putrid it would make a roadside vulture gag.

All the legal, constitutional and parliamentary maneuvering is enough to confuse Albert Einstein, but here is the bottom line: Congress and staff managed to get themselves exempted from one of the most punishing aspects of Obamacare.

Yes, you should be sharpening the tines of your pitchforks.

Back when the President and his henchmen rammed Obamacare through Congress, Republicans inserted a key provision requiring that whatever Frankenstein healthcare boondoggle got yoked upon the hardworking American people would also be yoked around the necks of every congressman and staffer on Capitol Hill. President Obama, being the slick fellow that he is, made sure it did not apply to him or anybody working for him in the White House.

The noble idea was that if they were seizing control of our titanic -- yet still largely functioning --health care system and started ramming into every passing iceberg, then, by God, they were not going to get to be first in line for the life boats. No, they were going to go down with the ship.

If Obamacare was good enough for the American people, it should be good enough for Congress.

Well, that was BEFORE the bill passed, when they still needed to get it through. Now, it simply will not do.

It turns out that the healthcare packages currently provided to Congress and their staff are so generous and the squalor that will be caused by Obamacare is so terrible that the healthcare law simply cannot be applied to such precious people.

The thought is so terrifying that staffers from both parties in both chambers of Congress declared they would quit if forced to endure Obamacare. To those of us paying the bills around here, this sounded like a great idea.

But the federal bureaucracy blanched in terror. There would be a mass exodus of "talent," they shrieked. There will be a "brain drain!"

After all, without these people, who would come up with all these fantastic new laws like, say, Obamacare?

I mean, if it was "talent" and "brains" that got us into this mess, maybe it's time to try something else. Like letting them all quit. Or exempting all Americans from Obamacare.

Instead, after personal pleas made directly to President Obama, his administration quietly ruled last week in the dead of August that Congress and staff would be exempted.

Now they will dispute this and say that, indeed, they are being forced out of their cushy government health insurance plans and into the Obamacare health exchanges. This much is true. But there is a dirty, dirty secret. You are still paying for their insurance.

If a regular citizen makes $100,000 a year working for a private company and loses his insurance because of Obamacare, he must pay out of his pocket for the insurance he will be forced to purchase from the exchanges.

However, if you are a sainted Congressional staffer earning $100,000 a year and enter the exchanges, guess who picks up the tab for your new insurance plan? That's right, your employer, the federal government, the lowly taxpayer.

In other words, under Obamacare, the only people forced into the exchanges whose insurance will still be paid for by their employer will be members of Congress and their staff.

Not only is this sneaky, self-dealing and cynical, it is a dishonest bait-and-switch. And once again, we lowly taxpayers are the suckers who get stuck with the bill, get chained down by their terrible laws and laughed at all the way to the hospital.

Real Laws Being Broken with ObamaCare

Posted 8 hours ago by Marilyn Assenheim

Forbes has released a previously-unpublished memorandum from the Congressional Research Service that states “the White House has missed half of the deadlines legally required by the ACA (Affordable Care Act). And some of those deadlines remain unmet to this day.” Of the 82 deadlines identified by the CRS, the White House only finalized 32 of them on time. Seventeen deadlines were completed late, 24 were not completed as of May 31, 2013, and 9 have not been completed at all, as of this date. By its own admission, Forbes’ estimate of the White House’s failure was overly optimistic. It isn’t half of the Affordable Care Act’s legal obligations that weren’t met. The true figure is almost 62% of them have not been met. Worse still, according to Forbes, the CRS document was an addendum to a previously published examination of the administration’s failure to adhere to its own legal deadlines: “The new CRS memo, dated June 5, 2013, is an addendum to a series of previous reports in which the agency examined missed deadlines during the law’s first two years.” The Chicago Tribune published an editorial on Sunday: “How President Obama is Flouting Obamacare.” Despite being a paper that is firmly in Obama’s house, The Tribune article begins: “Democrats strong-armed Obamacare into law three years ago. Now they're busy flouting it. The mandate that employers provide insurance next year or pay a penalty, as the law requires? Delayed for at least a year.” “The laws dictate that people applying for federal subsidies to buy insurance provide proof that they're eligible for the government aid? Scaled back. “Sharp limits on Americans' out-of-pocket costs for health care? Suspended for a year. “Providing members of Congress and more than 10,000 staff members with federal health care subsidies that the law does not allow? Done, via a deal brokered by President Barack Obama. “And on and on.” Yes, on and on. And that is the point. Sixty-nine percent of all Americans — Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike — poll a decidedly negative view of the Affordable Care Act. Over 92% of federal workers don’t want any part of the Affordable Care Act . . . including the head of the IRS. Despite the catastrophic failure this looming entitlement presents, Obama is working tirelessly on only one thing. He is kicking the can down the road, to bolster his plan, as is, when it suits him. What makes the Imperial President’s contravention of his own law worthy of mention? It is another example of the ongoing illegality he practices. He obeys laws or disregards laws and deadlines at will, such as submitting and passing national budgets, enforcing immigration laws and the defense of marriage act, to name a few.

In 2010, All Four Top Members Of The House GOP Leadership Pledged To Defund Obamacare

Posted by Joe Wurzelbacher on Aug 21, 2013

Almost immediately after Obamacare passed, I started pushing the idea of cutting off the funds for it in the House. It got a little traction at the time and I went so far as to ask all four of the GOP’s top leaders in the House if they’d support cutting off the funds for Obamacare.

Here’s what they had to say back in July of 2010.
We are going to fight to repeal this government takeover of health care and start over with solutions that focus first on lowering costs. Cutting off funding for ObamaCare is absolutely something I support. For example, I would support moving as soon as possible to deny any funding for the estimated 16,500 IRS employees that will be needed to implement ObamaCare. House Republicans will continue to stand with the American people against this unconstitutional government takeover of health care. — John Boehner

Yes, without question. Republicans will use every tool available to us to repeal the harmful law. Even in the minority, House Republicans have forced votes to immediately repeal some of the most egregious provisions of the law, including a vote to repeal the individual mandate. — Eric Cantor

Congress holds the power of the purse, and yes, I will support all efforts to cut off funding for ObamaCare. The Democrats’ government takeover of health care will kill jobs, infringe on individual liberty, and it fails to contain costs. —Mike Pence

If we are successful in repealing ObamaCare – and I’m going to work my heart out to repeal it – that would automatically – by definition – cut off the increased, out-of-control spending in the Obama-Pelosi health care bill. As House Republicans constantly told President Obama and Speaker Pelosi “We need to start over.” Once we’re back at Square One – the way things were before ObamaCare – we can begin a better process focused on smaller reforms that can gain bipartisan support -medical liability reform, enabling small businesses to pool together to purchase health insurance, allowing insurance to be purchased across state lines, etc. — Cathy McMorris Rodgers

At the time, I noted Cathy McMorris Rodgers “punted” on the question, but when I ran into her at at the 2010 Smart Girl Summit in September of that year, she personally told me that despite her somewhat ambiguous answer, she was very much in favor of defunding Obamacare.

Today, Mike Pence is the Governor of Indiana, but John Boehner is the Speaker of the House, Eric Cantor is the Majority Leader, Cathy McMorris Rogers is the Republican Conference Chairman and conservatives across the country are calling on them to fulfill the promises they made back in 2010. The effort is almost certainly doomed to failure in the Senate, where weak leadership and a less conservative caucus will make it very difficult for the GOP to hang in for the long haul. However, if the GOP leadership is united in favor of the tactic, it could conceivably work in the House.

In 2010, John Boehner, Eric Cantor and Cathy McMorris Rogers said they’d stand tall if this day ever came. Now, we’re going to get to see if they meant what they said.

Now the question is "Are you still standing with the American People"???
Were watching and we are listening, where is the de-funding?????
