Obama's Rained out Memorial Day Speech - Karma or Destiny?
I find it interesting that President Obama's Memorial Day Speech that he was going to make in Elwood, Illinois while on vacation during the Memorial Day weekend in Chicago was rained out.
A large crowd of people that were going to attend the event at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetary were instructed to take shelter so they didn't get hurt as it was pouring down rain and the lightening was striking around them. Just prior to that he put a wreath near some headstones.
Between that time and walking to the podium the Strong storm came in to disrupt the crowd from hearing a speech that Obama was going to make.
So, I'm just wondering since there were so many Veteran's and citizens that thought it would be better for him to be a part of the Service at Arlington National Cementary if there wasn't some kind of Karma or some kind of destiny that prevented him from speaking before the veterans, families, friends and the press.
I'm curious what others might think.[b]My loyalty is to the United States of America. I have no loyalty to politicians. I will watch over, care for, respect, honor, pray for and never forget her history ~~Sher~~

Of course no one can say with any certainty. And there will be those who think it was one thing, while others dismiss it as a coincidence.
Personally, I know that there is much which goes on in this world that we don't understand, but the existence of karma, the laws of attraction, divine intervention, etc. are all very hard to just nix off or ignore as possibilities.
But either way, this is definitely one more for the "obloopers" montages

im glad that he got rained out, it serves him right.
every single american serving now or has served in the past should be mad as hell that this egotistical bastard didnt show up at Arlington National Cemetary.
And people are talking about Bush not being there in 2002 when he was in Normandy France because it was a special day there as well. And if you cant be at arlington, normandy is a good close second choice

The storm was probably caused by the million plus souls of American war dead crying out in unison that a speech from a non-American just wasn't appropriate for today. A speech from an imposter would have been a profanation of this sacred day and for this nation, so it was just as well.
One who will not honor our flag, our Constitution, our national anthem and who refuses to guard this country's borders doesn't deserve the honor of honoring OUR heroes on this sacred day. Mother Nature spoke loudly and clearly today....Americans, were you watching and listening?.

Thank you for writing and responding to this post. I know that whether it is or isn't is like a flip of a coin. But it sure will keep some thinking and talking.
You are absolutely correct that there is so much in this world we don't know or can't explain, however it definitely makes life interesting to try and figure things out and investigate.
I do agree with you that this is definitely one more for the "obloopers" montages.

I too think it served him and his Secret Service Team right. It's kind of interesting when there are things out of our control that take over at times.
I have to agree with you that every person that served or has served our country along with their families, wives, children and friends should be mad as Hell he didn't show up at Arlington.
I guess those of us that know he has no real respect for our country , it's values, it's history or constitution should have expected he would exit stage left so as to not have to be at Arlington National Cemetary.[b]My loyalty is to the United States of America. After seeing the taped address at Andrews AFB last night, the Messiah has done nothing to garner my respect. In fact, he has infuriated me by not showing his respect at Arlington. Vice-Messiah be damned, the founding of our Republic was done so by a handful of patriots, fighting their way out of religious oppressions, taxation, etc. Their sacrifices, as all the sacrifices of our military personnel, set the tone for our freedoms we now enjoy! The phrase "Freedom isn't free" should be taught to every single American Citizen, and those aspiring to become one. The problem is that the current administration has so many "agendas" to finish before he is thrown out of office, he tends to cheapen the sacrifices that our military has made over the years. His insincere speech (which is all he is good at) just made my skin crawl...to think that I (and many others) have served this land we love and all we got were a few insincere words, must makes me sick!
For my Brothers and Sisters out there, I apologize for any comment which may have been said by our fearless leadership, which in my opinion, may have cheapened your service. I for one understand it, embrace it, and my thanks go out to those who keep the dream alive! Thank you for standing "watch" over our country!

Thank you for writing to us in response to my post. I would also like to personally thank you and your brothers and sisters that served our country and lest not forget those that came before all of us.
I too saw his evening address at Andrews AFB last night. I was in total disgust. It appeared to me he was trying to hurriedly get a speech made in front of someone so he could be seen in the countries eyes as a President that was determined to honor our Veterans and all Military Personnel.
'Freedom Isn't Free, Has Never Been and will Never Be, and it is our Military that sacrifice themselves to Keep our Country Free". I agree with you that "Freedom Isn't Free" and it should be taught to every student in our schools along with all those that intend to become legal residents of the United States of America.
I am so sorry that Obama made such an insincere attempt at a Memorial Day Speech to our Military and tried to save his own butt by at the last moment flying into Andrews Air Force Base to make a last minute speech. What a slap in the face to our military and citizens that are Patriotic and Love Our Country and Respect our Military.
You are quite welcome, I do feel it takes each of us that can to stand and watch over our country and I have taken that to heart and will not stop. Obama has many hidden agendas and we have to keep our citizens informed.
God Bless You and all Our Military Past, Today, and Tomorrow[b]My loyalty is to the United States of America. I have no loyalty to politicians. I will watch over, care for, respect, honor, pray for and never forget her history ~~Sher~~
