Objectively rating the Pres. Candidates on Immigration
To objectively rate the presidential candidates on immigration, one can take the non-partisan rating of presidential candidates on 16 immigration issues from NUMBERS USA
http://www.betterimmigration.com/candid ... _gop1.html
and assign a number grade for each of the word evaluations. Using:
5 = excellent
4 = good
3 = fair
2 = poor
1 = bad
0 = abysmal
and sorting by raw score with a converted percentage, results in:
80 100.0% Tancredo (gone)
73 91.3% Hunter
66 82.5% Thompson
58 72.5% Huckabee
55 68.8% Romney
50 62.5% Paul
36 45.0% Giuliani
33 41.3% McCain
33 41.3% Dodd
30 37.5% Biden
25 31.3% Edwards
25 31.3% Richardson
25 31.3% Kucinich
24 30.0% Clinton
21 26.3% Obama

That's the third immigration rating I've seen over the last day or two and each one of them had Duncan Hunter clearly rated above all the active candidates.
For our sake, I hope Hunter is able to make a move soon."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

I am not disagreeing with the ratings - but I'd like to know how they arrive at their figures.
Is it based solely on how they voted on immigration bills?Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
