I'm bringing this over from another thread just to make sure everyone is updated.

A reader just sent this:
Because I live in Virginia, I've been calling all of Senator Webb's offices to register my opposition to cloture on the immigration bill. I haven't been able to get through to his Washington office, but I actually got a live person on the phone at his Hampton Roads office. She told me that nothing has been officially announced, but that he'll be voting no on cloture. I don't know what that's worth, but if you want to post that online so that people can keep on calling him, I think it would be helpful. Keep the pressure on!

After reading the post I was able to reach a staff member in Webb's Richmond office. She also confirmed that he will vote no on cloture.

That's good.
Unfortunately, Sen. Coleman's office just told me he will vote yes on cloture because the "number of amendments have been whittled down." Needless to say, I voiced my displeasure, said I am not fooled if he then votes no on the final bill (depending on if this happens), and uged him to reconsider! I just spoke w/ both Webb's Press Secretary Jessica Smith and Webb's office at Hampton Roads. Webb has no position on his Cloture vote at this time. They don't know where this mis-information originated from but the official word is that he has no position on his Cloture vote tomorrow.
Hope that helps."The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them." Patrick Henry

Yes, it looks like Webb still undecided, keep on calling!
---------------------
UPDATE II: Webb's still undecided. I just received this message from someone in his office:
The Senator has not disclosed whether he will vote for cloture or against it –– so I can deny that rumor.
Please let others know that he has not stated that he will vote against cloture. If that was conveyed in a call to our office, it was a misunderstanding.
So he's still on the fence (at least publicly)!

I've called him - faxed him - emailed him and postal mailed him relentlessly, with my wife's name, my mom, my dad and sister. Just got off the phone with the DC office again.

Amazed....Web loves illegals!
The sources that I have heard from from VA (my home state) is that Webb is a nasty disgusting illegal loving democrat....
He ran a under minding and hateful campaign against Allen....every Republican that I have talked to hate his gutz!!!
The only people that got him into office was leftist socialist college bratz and truly "stupid" living in a cave old democrats...
So I find it very skeptical of the source that told you he will vote NO on this Senate Immigration Bill....he supports and loves illegals and encourages them to come to VA....I would if I was you get it from the horses mouth.

Well...
I AM an American FIRST and a Virginian as well.
Webb ran an anti-illegal alien campaign, and after it was abundantly clear he'd win, he softened his tone on illegal immigration. Everyone knows Allen's blunder... This was my perspective. I called during this phase of his campaign and was assured that he'd have NO part of any amnesty. My contributions supported his assertions.
Now we have a "fence-sitter"...
Where in the hell are all the American politicians that decide a stance and follow it through to the end?
CALL WEBB! NOW, PLEASE!
