GR, couldn't agree with you more. I guess I should have mentioned God in my rant above, but people generally just ignore it as a rule.

I by no means support anything but the word of God from the Bible. However, there are many now that follow the teachings of Mohammand, who was not God, and treat many very rude and without respect. Just look at how the females are treated...it is sickening. I'm just wondering how a religion could do such aweful things?

Many of you forget that the president is constrained by economic realities.

1. He had no choice but to come out in favor of the muslim building , to do otherwise could have offened our oil suppliers and that must NEVER come to pass , wthout oil we are dead.

As for the government taking over industry , they haven't gone far enough in my view.

The presidents view on immigration is wrong but I can only assume he is afraid of home price declines along with rental rate dips.

I oppose the president on some things and support him on others. So far I have to give him high marks because the US economy should be far far far worse than it is today.

Building a Mosque near where the towers fell and where thousands of people died is an insult and is hurtful... Too many other places to build it, why there? Where is the compassion for the American people?

The only reason to build a Mosque there is to stick a finger in our eye and to call victory. If it wasn't bad enough that Obama supports illegal aliens over Americans, now he raises the white flag again over this... This president again shows his total disregard and disconnect to the American people.

Unfortunately I agree with Obama that these people have a right to practice their religion and build the stupid mosque. However, with freedom comes responsibility. I am fed up with Americans and Christians being the ONLY ones who have to assume any kind of responsibility. If these people had any since of responsibility, common sense would tell them that this was not the time now place to build a Muslim mosque. Build it a mile or 2 down the road. THEY, should have a little compassion and understanding for the thousands that were murdered in this place by Muslim extremists.

Im for religous freedom, but what the Muslims and liberals supporting this have shown is niether taste nor compassion. To say this is "tacky" is an understatement. Cruel might be a better word.

I miss Laura Bush, at least she was lady like and dressed like it and acted like it.

To be honest I do not think we have had a decent president since Reagan. Before that, no one since maybe Eisenhower (before my time, just going by my mothers opinion on that). It is a shame that we have had so many crummy presidents who were uniquely UNQUALIFIED to run this nation. Sure they did a few good things, maybe, but insignificant compared to what this nation has needed for so long. Obama is just doing his best to keep up with this lame presidential leadership tradition lately.
