Boy what an improvement from early morning. I thought I was going to lose ALIPAC for good. Yahoo email is running great! And I am doing my typically routine here at ALIPAC. SO VERY HAPPY

One other thing is still happening. When I come here I end up with a mysterious shortcut on my desktop. It says "Thunbs"(thunbs with an n, not thumbs). I am not putting it there and it keeps reappearing. There does not seem to be anything in the folder and I erase it, only to find it again later. I scanned it for virus, but there was none. Its weird. It does not happen at any other site, only alipac.
It is better than it was. I am scanning often and so far I am clean. I am no longer getting the warning from my security with regard to "e.exe" trying to access my puter.
But last time I logged on, I still got preg_replace. I am not having problems staying connected to alipac anymore though. Last night I could barely stay on for a minute and my security would disconnect me and send a warning.
I could not stay on, so I tried to email you from alipac.com to tell you about it.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

The purpose of my post here is for you folks to tell me all info you can must about any attempted attacks, exploits, or unauthorized access attempts on your computers.
Me and Dixie have been attempted tonight in the last three hours.
Someone is attacking us and possibly you so we need exact details and not vague descriptions please.

Then my security software gave me a warning (right away)that said "One Care Live has blocked "e.exe". You need to be an administrator to allow this program." (I surf in limited user so it is very difficult for anything to get in.) And then right after the warning I got screen freeze and I had to shut it down.
Then later I noticed the shortcut on my desktop "Thunbs". Very weird. A folder with nothing in it. I erased it and then later it reappeared. The last time I noticed it again was about two hours ago. I ran a scan on the folder and my security said it was ok. Then I ran a complete computer scan and everything was ok.
I am no longer getting a warning from my security about "e.exe", but "Thunbs" folder keeps appearing. And my browser is running normally and I am able to stay here. I went to other sites but this is the only site where this happened.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Have not been on much in the last two days....
No problems for me, so far. I use AVG Free 8.5 and it scans every night. Since I have started using it, I have had no problems with spyware or malware.
To me, that "thunbs" thing sounds just like a malware program. I have had to deal with this kind of thing a lot before using the AVG security. It takes using AVG or Spybot, both freeware, to get these kinds of things off, and keep them off.
As for ALIPAC, we could have someone attempting to hack in and cause problems of the site, and for anyone browsing it. I could simply see that, and I am sure we have enough enemies that would love to have this voice of reason off of the internet.“In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. When his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, For then it costs nothing to be a Patriot.â€
