I used to love the double feature nights at the drive in. I usually never made it past the first feature before I fell asleep. Of course when I was a teenage I never fell asleep when I was with my date!

When I was a kid we would put on our pajamas. bring our pillow, mom would pop up a huge grocery back of popcorn and we would ultimately fall asleep in the back seat. Ahh, yes, huge, frosty mugs of A&W root beer. Tasted great on a hot summer night. Burgers were great too!

Yes how right you are. I remember when we could celebrate the fourth without any slack. Kids where kids then, running, and playing, climing trees, falling out, and not sueing anyone. We where pretty rough kids then. I worked mowing lawns and gardening others lawns, made money, doing what I could. I was 13 years old and still had time to play football, and baseball on our block. I remember sneeking into the drive in, remember the drive in, man that was the days?

yes the playground. That was great. my parents took me and some of my firends on fridays sometimes and it was kids free. And the food stands yes. The popcorn the best at the movies. And two or three shows.
we had a drive in in Wichita, KS and I would take my daughter and all her friends, because it was 10.00 a car load. Man that was fun. Got into the theater, and I was abandon, but, thats okay they wanted to hang out,.
Man those where the days.
Do you ever remember the old A and W root beer places where, they would bring your order? And they had the glass big mugs?
Man we went there all the time. When i lived in westminster, Ca, they had one on Westminster blvd. man its was a good size one, and they had the best kid burgers, I can still remember them.
