Fox just had something on about a possible McCain/Lieberman ticket.

It would be a joke if it happened and it wouldn't

The Register in Iowa endorsed Hillary and McCain if that doesn't tell you something. Another paper did too. I think it was the NYPost???

I think it was the Boston Globe that jumped on with McCain

I am a little worried about this.

They would get a LOT of Independent voters and Dems.

Not to worry McCain is a open border nut, a war supporter so is Lieberman. People are going Independent because they want to stop the war and stop the invasion at the border. I don't think spending a trillion dollar and watching many young people get killed maimed in Iraq so contractors like KBR can have growth is what most votes want. If they're so worried about security why do we have open borders, so corporations and investors can have growth? To me it's all about profit and we the people are getting sick of it. Growth is killing this country.......... These two clowns are unelectable...

I believe whiny Joe Lieberman endorsed McCain probably because of their support for the war. But as noted, Lieberman is terrible on illegal immigraton and (despite how the media potrays him as a moderate or even conservative) is a big time liberal.

I think a LOT of Americans want to stop the wars (in Iraq and at home). We know there are so many problems that need to be fixed, and sending our resources to unnecessary things is igniting fury. There are millions of veterans without proper medical care. There millions of elderly without medical or functional housing. There are millions more American children getting only one meal a day, if that, because their just isn't enough to go around. Millions of parents who walk to and from work, or take a bus an hour each way to work, just to pay their rent. Even more millions are losing their houses to the "variable rate" mortgage scheme. The list goes on.

Americans are tired of helping everyone else help themselves to OUR tax money, while we all have nothing to show for it. Americans are sick and tired of being put onto the back burner.

We all need to vote wisely this election. We do NOT need a liberal (even one in conservative clothing) getting into the White House. It's live free or die in 2008.

I cringed when hearing that the Iowa picked McCain as a favorite to win
the caucus. I thought he was pretty much out of the running.

I absolutely CANNOT vote for him, Giuliani or Huckabee. I might be able
to hold my nose tight enough to vote for Romney but it would be a really
hard thing to do.
