Good article. I didn't know Bush Sr was so bad in that regard. I'm not sure that his references to a "new world order' were entirely based upon complete globalization, as this was an emerging phrase at the time that had a lot of different connotations. The famous speech using that term, was referencing the maintenance of then-current international boundaries by international forces----which, IMO, would have been better than the more unilateral action happening with GWB.
