At the rally, Juan José Gutiérrez, Director of Latino Movement USA, said, "We are people of dignity and we demand respect. This is the beginning of a movement that is going to call for a national work stoppage."

Gloria La Riva of the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition said, "The racist politicians thought they could step on us with their racist legislation but they have awakened the immigrant giant and they will feel our strength when we stop work."

Preston Wood of A.N.S.W.E.R. LA said, "U.S. corporations are robbing Mexico of its resources and forcing people to come as immigrants for their survival. U.S. Out of Iraq! Justice for all workers!"

Critical to the turnout was the mobilization night and day for over a week of famous Latino radio announcers from every Spanish-language station, including Piolín el Cucuy. The organizers announced a national meeting on April 8 in Dallas, Texas of all the Latino immigrant rights leaders in the country to strategize for a national work stoppage in late May under the banner "A Day Without An Immigrant."

Maybe they can also have an illegal alien gang banging, murdering, drug dealing, carjacking, kidnapping, gang raping, auto stealing, bank robbing, drive-by shooting, cop-killing, DUI driving, Hit & Run killing, accident fleeing, home invading, child molesting, welfare cheating, ID card forging, 12 year old girl impregnating, shoplifting, identity thieving, grafitti spraying day off too.

They can call it: "A day without a Mexican... in Jail"

I hope the Senators who are supporting the illegal aliens read that article. Chances are though, they're too busy cashing those checks from the corporate sponsors of illegal immigration.

On another thread there is discussion of a work and/or spending boycott by legal US taxpayers on tax day. I think it's a great idea, but it will need a high profile to get momentum. And for the record, if the illegals are doing all these critical jobs that the US economy can't do without blah blah blah, then why is it that with hundreds of thousands of them protesting that the economy didn't implode? Maybe the grass grew a little bit and some toilets went uncleaned, but we cut our own grass and clean our own home. Maybe other Americans should start doing the same.

I wonder if the politicians who are sitting there right now hashing out a plan to hand these people our country on a silver platter know their "friends" are calling them racists!
