The entire bill is a FRAUD. They of course will try to sneak anything they can by us!!

I called and gave her staffer an earful about her 'touchback' farce, I told her that major anger is building towards the senator for not just taking a stand against this bill, Hutchison has been in Washington too long, and she shurely isn't going to the Governers Mansion, Texans have seen her for what she is.

The illegals will not go for this because many have all ready complained
that if they leave even temporarily they will most likely lose their jobs.
La Raza and other illegal immigrant supporter groups are against it to.
Saying it will put to much hardship on the illegals and their families!

They are all ready whining about having to go and paying the fines.

There's probably a vacation provision in the bill to give the illegals time off so they won't lose their job.

Bingo! There is such a provision, at least for the H-2C sponges...

`(ii) EXCEPTION- The period of authorized admission of an H-2C nonimmigrant shall not terminate if the alien is unemployed for 60 or more consecutive days if such unemployment is caused by--
`(I) a period of physical or mental disability of the alien or the spouse, son, daughter, or parent (as defined in section 101 of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (29 U.S.C. 2611)) of the alien;
`(II) a period of vacation, medical leave, maternity leave, or similar leave from employment authorized by employer policy, State law, or Federal law; or
`(III) any other period of temporary unemployment caused by circumstances beyond the control of the alien.

Unbelievable. This just sickens me.

Thanks! I read S. 1348 repeatedly and it took me about two weeks to soundly digest the content. This "little ditty" contains legislation so apalling and damaging to American citizens that my senses are still reeling...
