Mr. Hume and Fox News:

As a prior guest on your show, I must express my sense of outrage at what I viewed on your show Thursday night. I cannot believe the flagrant bias and unbalanced reporting that amounted to an attack on Pat Buchanan.

First, you go out of your way to try and rebut Pat Buchanan's new book, which is the number one seller at Amazon. Your point was very clear. "Buchanan's book is selling like hotcakes, let's get someone in the studio fast to try and cast doubts on his credibility by questioning a few of the claims he makes."

Secondly, Mr. Hume invites a "panel of experts" to discuss Mr. Buchanan's book. Amazingly all three panel members attack Pat Buchanan personally and attack his facts. The image you tried to create was that all sources disagree with Buchanan. One of your guests even called him a crackpot, and another said he was a racist. Who was there to defend Mr. Buchanan? How was that fair and how is that balanced?

Finally, as you have cooked up this well dressed attack on Mr. Buchanan and his book, all of the video images you showed of immigrants were positive pictures. You had videos of immigrants working hard and marching down the streets all carrying only AMERICAN flags. Where were the images of the Mexican flags? Where were the gang members? Where were the images of people climbing the walls and fences? You presented a false image of illegal aliens by implying that all illegal aliens are hard working supporters of America in your video backdrops while bashing Buchanan's facts.

You do a great disservice to our nation when you proclaim your motto is fair and balanced reporting, yet gang up on Mr. Buchanan and show only positive images associated with the illegal immigration issue in a clear attempt to influence public opinion.

What you are doing equates to cooking up one big lie and it is unfair to Mr. Buchanan and unfair to your viewers.

You made it abundantly clear to anyone familiar with this issue that Fox News and the Brit Hume show clearly has an agenda to discredit the information presented in Buchanan's book and by anyone else that is concerned about illegal immigration.

The Aztlan Separatist movement is real. It's a fact that you failed to mention to your viewers. Instead, one of your panelists tried to claim that Buchanan claims ALL illegal aliens are part of some plot.

Mr. Hume and Fox News, I feel you owe Mr. Buchanan and the American public a big apology for your unfair and unbalanced coverage on this issue.

I openly challenge you to have me live on your show anytime to discuss these issues in a fair and balanced arrangement. A few simple facts will flush your attempt to deceive the public on this matter out into the open like a gaggle of scared geese.

In fact, the reason I believe you did not have any source on your "panel" that supported the information in the book is that one person could have easily shattered the image you were trying to convey.

I think I will go buy a few more copies of his book as gifts in my own form of protest against your obvious and overt bias against anyone trying to get this information out to the public.

I suppose that the real question here is, why do people have to learn about the Aztlan separatist movement in a new book instead of on Fox News? Your problem is not that Mr. Buchanan's facts are wrong. Your problem is that people are getting more accurate information from his book and our website on this topic than from the Fox network.

I challenge you to improve for the health of our nation.
