Hotbed of terrorism?

Newmarket, Ont. -- As a loyal Canadian, I am alarmed that Miami has so obviously become a hotbed of Islamic extremism (Seven Indicted In Alleged Al-Qaeda Plot -- on-line edition, June 23). I submit that it is high time for the United States to overhaul its lax immigration policies. Shape up or ship out, America: You're either with us or against us.

The majority of American citizens and Legal immigrants agree with you, Joseph.

That's pretty funny coming from a country that lets people in that are on Interpools Terroist watch list

It is not the country letting these people in. It is the people in power who are screwing up. We are in the process of relieving them of their power. If it's that important, why not help us out rather than cast stones?

From other threads and Canadian articles that I've read recently, MAYBE the Canadian citizens are just starting to become aware also. Some seemed shocked with the recent coverage of the SPP.

Well they need to wake up and fast. They are just as deep into the SPP as we are and if we (meaning the people, not our governments) join forces maybe we can stop it.

Ya I have a feeling they're just waking up too. How can such a nice country with welcoming people and such, be slapped in the face for their good deeds? Coz some people are evil and look at you as a fool for making it so easy. I always thought the best of everyone and it was hard to wake up and realize that their are evil, bad people out there.
