Ranchers and land owners need to be given the right to defend their land against trespassers and drug runners. Too many ranchers have had fences and equipment damaged by illegals ad drug runners along the border. They need to be given the right to defend that property that belongs to them. If BP cannot secure the border and protect the landowners and their property then authorization to take whatever steps needed to protect the property needs to be given. I also thing it a travisty if anyone has to pay damages for stopping an illegal trespasser on personal property.
