Maybe we can get behind this and provide Tom a platform. I emaild and asked if he would be willing to discuss the NAU and SPP out of my own curiosity. I haven't heard from his campaign office yet.

NO Democrat presidential candidate can save this nation, despite so-called ‘Republican’ Bush giving the party a stink! [ BOTH parties contribute to La Raza (THE Race), Mecha, LULAC, etc etc etc.. ]. So if you want to contribute, do so to the candidate, NOT the party!

See.. about 70% of Republicans are AGAINST illegal migration ETC, whereas approximately the same percentage of Democrats are FOR that chaos! In the last election, a lot of people THOUGHT that by voting 'democrat', they'd stop this mayhem, but voting all ‘one’ party?!

..And watch out for Giuliani (whose law firm is the sole representative of Cintra, the Spanish firm with a 50-year contract on the NAFTA Superhighway in Texas), Fred Thompson (CFR member), Sen. John Cornyn (who introduced a meld-with-Mexico bill until World Net Daily confronted him; it was withdrawn . . .), Sen. Chris Dodd (who inserted a last-minute provision in the failed immigration bill that a border fence must have Mexico's approval), and, of course, Bill Richardson.
And Romney? ..better than ANY democrat, but wants to INCREASE legal immigration! What?! with half to 2/3 of the 1.2 MILLION visas ANNUALLY exploited by the greedy business lobby just so a business can say they’ve hired a ‘legal’ alien, NOT to mention paying them MUCH less thus DEPRESSING our wages even further?!

I find that many hear support one of the three listed above, but "some" think if its not "their" choice, one of the Top Tier is an alternative choice - hahhaha. They must be moonlighting from grassfire..

This is a good idea for Tancredo.

What I have learned in Promoting for Ron Paul, you must have an incentive for a presidential candidate to take time out of their busy schedule to meet with you.

For instance, one of the following (if coming from out of town).

1. A fundraiser. A minimum of say $250 per plate - 50 people min.
2. 500+ supporters at some rally
3. college rally

etc... you have to have an incentive, else it doesn't make sense to book trips, pay for security to speak to 40 people who will not donate.

"IF" you live in the same area in which he is campaigning, then that could work for you. Where do you live? He is spending time in NH, and Iowa.

"Maybe" you can contact his campaign and get a listing of the supporters/donors in your specific area.. ACTUALLY, you can search for this. This is available. I forgot the website. but you can get names/addresses --- contact the people to get a RVSP List etc.. something like that.

Where do you live and what sorta crowd you looking to bring. hahhha.. Here I am supporting another candidate but wanting to help you. I like Tancredo, if we could have a Paul/Tancredo ticket I'd be jumping for joy. Anyways... hopefully this thread can get some traction and other Tancredo fans can chime in on some ideas.

Holding a event in North CA sounds like a good idea. Alot less opposition? Is there a place where many can easily get to? Is there is a place that is city owned? They only charge for the permit.

I was involved in a poitical issue a long, long time ago. We got a nice little area through the parks and recreations dept. They supplied the permit, microphones, amplifier and speakers. Once we had the permit, the speaker agreed to come. We then notified the police dept, newspapers and news stations. We had two weeks. The media jumped on it. The place was packed!

He had two events in southern california earlier this year, one was at the Nixon library and the ticket cost for the event was 100. It's a good idea to tap into CA, there is a lot of money and support.

Regarding his ad, good idea i think. He made it, he got noticed, and he got free air time. With Tancredo, you won't get politcally correct garbage thrown at you.

While I am not sure my area would produce a large outcome, I called my local Parks and Rec Dept to see what facilities were available. Comminity Center can only fit 250 people and would cost

First Hour 100.00
After 1st Hour 25.00
Liability Ins. 116.15
Local P.D. per hour 50.00

Refundable Deposit 250.00

This is just an idea. Maybe your parks and rec is cheaper. I'm willing to chip in on the costs. I will also be calling other possible resources, golf clubs, schools and so on. If you know a city that would draw a large crowd, we could begin checking resources in that area. I won't be able to dive into this until after Thanksgiving but I know we can pull this off.

Thanks for the input. I will contact his campaign office and see what infor I can get. I haven't decided who I'll vote for yet but Tancredo is up there.
