Thread: Other strategies to consider

Voting the bastards out seems of little use. Simply due to the fact that the only ones that run are financed by the ones who support illegal and other types of immigration. And because the ones getting the boot out, or are termed out, get an appointment or a cushy lobbying job or similar.
So how do we make them afraid?
Is there some strategy we can use to forward bills or legislation that will attack their ability to use their past service in the house as insulation against voter retaliation?
How about thier perks? The free healthcare for life; The pensions; the security they enjoy.
The point is, can we send them a message that once you are in, you get some perks; But once you are out, you get what the rest of us have and nothing more. So work to hang onto your job, or you will be competing with everyone else that you brought here.

Or,

We start a mass campaign on Alipac which may hopefully spread to other boards and groups, to openly investigate all of their records, donations, and other activities to look for improprieties. All the while, we all unify behind the reason we are investigating. Would the parties react at all to the likelyhood that many of thier closets hold enough carelessly hidden skeletons to warrant concern?

That's a pretty tough question, Ayatollah. Your suggestion about bringing out the skeletons in their closet would only go so far...I mean, Bush has Nazi connections in his family.....and yet his money and connections got him into position as POTUS. $$$ and connections seem to be the only thing they understand or listen to.

I think they ARE afraid of getting booted out, though, even though they don't become surfs when they get booted out, they still lose power for their party/organized crime group. It's an overall loss of prestige for them and their progeny, so I think it DOES concern them and even make them FEAR.
