    Our own form of protest

Our own way of protesting against the influx of Spanish being forced upon us, is we always look at everthing we purchase. If it has Spanish on the box or bag, we DO NOT buy it! Unfortunately, lots of companies are giving in to this nonsense. Nothing like going shopping & having commercials blaring from the sound system in Spanish! Makes an American feel right at home, doesn't it? We also email companies & let them know we are not purchasing their product and why.

Us too wildwest!! In Oregon where we live, we rarely hear the Spanish "commercials" blaring in the stores, but in Hood River Oregon, up from us, their Walmart does, all the time, it's obnoxious.

As for the products, we do all we can to buy anything totally American made or at least Canadian made. My husband and son gave up their favorite brand of antiperspirant because it was made in Mexico (not to worry they bought another brand!!!!LOL).

Also have made complaints to the stores meat departments for cutting up perfectly good roasts to sell it as "carne asada"!
