    Public Service Announcement feedback

I heard a public service announcement today that got me thinking. So I sent this letter to the radio station when I got home.

    Dear Sirs or Hers,

I’ve heard the Public Service announcements to spare the air by not running appliances before 7 PM.

Another thing we could do is to enforce our immigration laws. It would not only help with the air but also the overcrowding of our roads, schools and other social services.

Please write your Congressmen and women.

    Thank you,

I'm sure that many of you will be hearing Public Service Announcements in your areas of the country. If they are a result of increased population, maybe enforcement of the immigration laws may help where you are at.

They are always coming up with ways for us to help. I think it is time for the government to do its part and help us.

I'm up to about seven responses to the "Spare the Air" public service announcements.

Every time I hear one of the announcements I write down the station.

Then I send them an email something like this.

    Dear Sirs or Hers,

Not only would this help spare the air, it may make a good public service announcement all on its own.

    Thank you,

When they start in with the conserving water I will be in hog heaven with places to respond to.

Back in the sixties when they launched the Family Planning and insisted that our children were unwanted, some of the reasons they used were that we were going to be to crowded and there would be a shortages of things like water and many other things. The list was long.

Now the future is here and they care little about overcrowding or the resources except for what we can do for them.

It is high time they do something to help us for a change.
